Pagafantas - a "friend zone" movie

I thought that I would recommend this movie for some of you.

This is a Spanish movie. The title, "Pagafantas", literally means "pays for soft drinks ('Fantas')", but is a Spanish slang for a man who is able to become very, very close friends with a woman, but is not capable of causing her to have any sexual interest in him whatsoever. I think you call that the "friend zone."

Anyway, I thought that this movie was hilarious, and some of you might like it.

Meh.

I saw it a couple of years ago when it was released.

I really enjoyed the trailer and was probably expecting too much, its not the worst Ive seen but its considered to be one of biggest flops of spanish cinema that were released within the last years.


Apparently some people really enjoyed it so maybe it just wasnt my kind of movie.



I have a question pandabear did you watch it with subtitles/in English?(I dont know if theres an international release of this movie.)

Yes, of course I had subtitles.
