I'd sit and watch a romantic comedy with a girl i'm not into or a guy. It's not my problem if they read into it as more

Here's the truth. Guys don't have girl "friends". It doesn't work that way.
If he went out with you it is because he fancies you. He sees you as a potential girlfriend.

If he hasn't made a move on you it means that HE thinks that YOU think that he is "just a friend" and is scared of offending you or making a fool of himself.

So next time you see him put your arms around him and give him a big kiss on the lips.

You won't regret it.

This guy has plenty of girl "friends" that he hangs out with. If I did that Id make the biggest fool outta myself.

I think what he means to say is that any time a guy and a girl are friends, there is a level of romantic and sexual interest involved, however miniscule.

Or maybe he is just bitter and I'm giving him too much credit.
