First Valentines Days Taken <3

Im kindve excited. me and my girl hav lasted 4 months and its the first time ill be spending valentines days with someone!

That's great. I've never had a boyfriend going on 25 now so Valentine's Day is kind of sad. Personally I wouldn't want a big heart or anything like that or roses a bag of my favorite candy would be good.

The good news: this is also my first V-day where I'm not single.

The bad news: My gf had to move back to Casper. We're still a couple, just over a distance of about 200 miles or so, which kind of fails for a dinner date. :(

But being taken takes all the fun out of Valentines Day! No more excuse for invigorating angst and dramatics!

One thing you will find it will be a little bit more expensive than previous Valentine's days

I'm twenty four now and I still haven't managed to find a girlfriend (sigh..), I can't imagine Valentine's Day being anything other than just another Monday for me.

I can't believe people even care.. its like a non event..

My first non-single Valentine's Day...my girlfriend had been meaning to break up with me for about a month, but didn't have the heart to, so she waited until three days after the 14th

I've had a few non-single V-Days since then, but really, if any holiday is severely overrated, it's this one. It probably wouldn't be so bad if the candy was more delicious, though...

...and people started talking about it here constantly starting about two weeks ago!

...and it's still two weeks away!

...and even people who aren't in relationships are trying to figure out what to buy themselves!

WTF?

I still say that my best ever Valentine's day was when I was in undergrad halls and single, and my friend and I got drunk and slipped jokey Valentine's day cards under our friend's doors. There's something rather wonderful about playing silly harmless tricks in the early hours of the morning...
