As ever, interesting and informative and even a little entertaining.

Maybe we can talk about questions we've asked or been asked.

Someone on OKC used one of those icebreaker things on me once. she asked a very innocent question about Watership Down something like 'what's the saddest bit' and I then went and wrote her a long and detailed analysis of the film, and how I see it relating to social and political concerns in the human world.

So that was a really bad question for her to ask.

Quote:
Among all our casual topics, whether someone likes the taste of beer is the single best predictor of if he or she has sex on the first date.

That is really weird. Also, I like the taste of beer but you'll never find me having sex with some relative stranger.

Quote:
* Do you like horror movies?
* Have you ever traveled around another country alone?
* Wouldn't it be fun to chuck it all and go live on a sailboat?
Agreement on these three questions correlated best to an actual relationship.

Very interesting. This makes much more sense to me than the beer one. I've even thought before that "Do you like horror movies?" is probably the single best question I can ask a person to determine our compatibility.

I'm also amused to see that non-serious Buddhists have the highest writing proficiency out of any religiously-defined group of people.

Hmm, my favourite first date question was 'shall i carry you home, or let you stumble around on those ridiculously sexy high heels?'
I think romance has always been dead for me.

Another one was about custard. I don't remember writing that I liked custard on my profile.

I'm there! But only if we can also make silly faces on them.

Did she reply though and something came of it?

If so, I would say that was a great question to ask, so I'm guessing not.
