Start an ASD social club, unless there is one already. If there is, then join it. Or, join a special interest club. I hadn't any interest in meeting people, but I was talked in to going to a few meetings of the "wilderness club" at my college and the people were more tolerant of my being autistic than others because I enjoyed the same activity that they did.

I kind of got lucky. I was talking to this girl, or as my brother-in-law likes to refer to her "the prettiest girl in class," since that was the wording I gave him when I was late getting picked up. I mentioned Asperger's kind of offhandedly, since I was talking about why I didn't like Speech Communication. She didn't know what it was, but when I explained that I was on the autism spectrum, it turned out she has a brother with autism. She's actually been pretty accepting of me so far, and comforting when it comes to my issues(like not being able to look at the clock during class because she sits under it, and I'm afraid that she might think I'm looking at her. >_> She told me to just ask her for the time from now on.)

It's pretty much just luck, as it is with everything in the world.

Most girls (not just girls, people in general) won't "get" it or know a whole lot about it...you might have to find a girl willing to learn about what AS is. Also, you'll have more luck meeting girls if you're taking classes on campus and even more if you live on campus. But of course that might not be possible for you right now.
