Aspies naturally gravitate toward more socially relaxed settings. Is this the same for you when it comes to approaching women? Or do you chance walking into night clubs with all the racket and lights?

If I'm planning on meeting girls, I go for public parks. Or big supermarkets during a weekday when there are fewer people inside. If I go into a nightclub (never have), I know that I'll end up getting nothing done because of the sensory overload.

Wouldn't know - I never approach women I don't already know. In fact, I didn't realize that people actually did this at all, much less sucessfully, until recently...

Thank you for allowing me to be helpful!

Actually, I could argue against that. But I'll spare you.

Besides my classes, the best conversations with strangers that I have had have been in the lab where I work. I mean, there's common interest/passion there and we're also mostly pretty strange, interesting, at least partially introverted people. I've even had good elevator conversations there.

In most settings, if someone looks interesting, I'll probably just go up and make some excuse to talk to them. Given, I'm usually on campus, so I think it's obviously a bit easier/socially acceptable for me to approach strangers than for people that are out of school to do so.

Can't really say I've ever gone somewhere just trying to meet someone - I'd be awful at hiding my ulterior motives, for one thing...

Most girls have claws and are known to roar or shriek.

Well good luck with getting a girl with that attitude...

The woods of Northern Wisconsin. There are deer all over the place. I'm not so much into shooting fowl. Venison is awesome, wild bird meat... not so much.

I'm kidding, I don't hunt - but I do love venison!

I know. Nice to know that women aren't as "human" as men are despite that I've seen more animalistic behavior from men but I don't want to ruin your lovely delusion you got going here.

Exactly. I heard once that women like to be treated like .. uh whats the word.. human beings.
But I think I must have misheard.

Underneath all the social rules, we're pretty much animals. Despite our intellegence, we want much the same stuff any creature does. Just the dynamics of getting them are way more complicated.

I like clubs actually. It's just pure energy and being forward is expected. The noise and lights help take the focus off social games.

I heard that rumor once too. It sounds totally far-fetched if you ask me. :/

There are many theories on the matter. I'm one of the few that advocates that they died with the dinosaurs when the meteors stuck.
