I don't get it becuase you see blonde and brunnete people date each other but people with red/ginger hair never really seem to date each other.

i have seen LOADS of blonde and brunnete couples but never ever red heads? What is so wrong about 2 people with red hair dating and marrying each other? red heads just seem to go for the brunnetes and blondies.

is it a taboo for red headed people to mate?

May i also add that red hair is a beutiful color and trait so why would people with red hair not be attracted to others with red hair? As far as i know people with every different kind of trait date others with the same traits as the except red heads.

I live in England by the way.

Move to Ireland I guess. They are rare. And a dying breed:

Gingers tend to resent being gingers so I cannot imagine that they would be attracted to another ginger. I'm not a ginger, but still a natural redhead. My husband is also a natural redhead. Although his hair has turned into a brownish color over the years, his goatee remains red. I guess that's as close as it gets to a redhead coupling.

Its probably because its less common to see a redhead. There are so many blondes and brunettes in the world that it would be a conspiracy if they didn't date each other.

I just googled the term "Neanderthal + red hair"

Redheads might be dying out but perhaps they are the last vestige of the Neanderthal genes.

True. Ginger is the rarest hair color. And it's trendy to be blond. Too trendy. There should be more gingers, so I can tell 'em apart! J/k. But really. Everyone feels the need to look like each other for some reason.
I am a brunette dating a calico. He's got hairs of every color. In the summer, his hair is dark red. :-D
