Would you love your spouse more than you love your children because I would here is why you knew your spouse before your children if not for you and your spouse being a married couple you would have no children therefor you have no family without your spouse ?

I feel sorry for any children of yours :s

If I had to choose I'd likely choose the lives of my children.

I don't love either more, I love them in different ways.

I will always love my children infinitely with no conditions and always will. In the future, they may do things that make me despise them and loath who they have become but i will always love them.

I love my ex husband who is my current boyfriend (confusing) more then anyone else(except my children) in the world. There are things that he could do to remove that love though, like being a pedophile or instigate a genocide(not saying he would ever do it).

I think this is taking logic to extremes, even for aspies.

Yes. Love is action, and our actions toward each are unique.

I've seen first-hand what loving a spouse more than the kids does and it is utterly horrifying.

I have no idea how you'd quantify love in order to judge your love for one to be "greater" than the other...

more importantly, they are two distinct TYPES of love, which I don't think can be compared.

Yay for fence-sitting! :D
