I want to reactivate my account there and it won't let me and I can't contact anyone about it. I tried to do what it asked me, but it won't take the activation code.

I had a bad week and I contacted someone and nothing happened and with all the other times like that it was just like "Forget it! Noone wants me, because everyone rejects me." But I overreacted, so I want to reactivate.

Are you sure it's going to be worth it, even if you can get it reactivated? Has anyone tried "geek 2 geek"? http://www.gk2gk.com/

I can't even figure out how to make it send me an activation code-
the site's pretty dysfunctional.

I see banner ads for that all the time...kinda makes me feel bad that even internet spy programs know I'm a geek lol.

Those and for weight loss.

And these HORRIBLE ones for the ASPCA. :(

Anyways.

Targeted ads can be humiliating. I get ones for wrinkle creams. I guess the spybots looked at my age in my profile.

Aw, shoot. You have to pay for G2G. :(

The ASPCA ones are prob cause I'm vegan and do a lot of related search terms.
Still. It's quite upsetting to have graphic images like that on a page out of nowhere.

Well, you don't have to pay to search, so I did. Very odd: my search criteria yielded mainly empty profiles connected to inhumanly perfect photos. (Am I that shallow???) Something tells me not everything is on the up and up there.

Very nice. I'm vegetarian but have never been able to get all the way there. I thought I was going to have to, based on a preliminary diagnosis of lactose intolerance. Figured that would get me over the line. But, it turns out I'm just generally intolerant.

Its probably one of those Chuck and Larry things, they were picking through your trash to see if everything looked vegan enough when they found some CPU and video card boxes. A few more Newegg advertisements later and it was confirmed.

The great bit is I was horribly lactose-intolerant as a baby, so They put me on meds to suppress my immune system so I could be fed dairy,
and now I'm a vegan by choice. :D

I would do it if not for the fact that I'm a pretty lame vegetarian. That is, I get most of my protein from eggs and dairy. If I had to rely on all of these absolutely exotic vegan dishes, I'd starve. Quinoa dumbfounds me. I don't even think I spelled it right!

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose?

Exactly! You see, that's where I'm inclined to go -- i.e., to somewhere not very healthy. Imagine if I didn't have dairy. What's for dinner ... potato chips???
