Only serious open-minded need read. Please read the whole article. Its kind of long but stick with it. I am just curious what people think.

I think you should definitely take a GRAIN of SALT when reading it. It does seem a bit more speculatory and opinionated, and yet it does kind of make sense. Girls probably won't think much of it.


Basically it talks about the differences in social attitudes between America and other countries. There is alot which can be debated and which seems slanted. True true, but I have to say the man kinda has a fucken point.

I agree, you can have more chances to get a girlfriend abroad; not because foreign girls are better than American but because you can always blame your culture of origin for your weirdness.

The US pictures are only two pictures; while the other ones were 15 pictures. He needs to increase and balance his sample-size!

Even if there are a lot of girls in the two US pictures, they all were part of one clique per picture. So, it is very biased and expected of them to smile alike.

However, I do still believe in the lesson. To approach based on the situation, location, culture, and temperament of the person. (I like that word temperament; I use it a lot)

So Eastern European, Russian and Philippine women smile to a man from western country? That isn't really news. Also the picture comparison kinda fails because the Americans are in party settings and the others are not.

However, you Americans would have more chances to get a foreigner girl because your country is the strongest and richest country in the world and not because you can blame your weirdness on cultural differences.

The more "superior" your country is , the more you become desired by the foreigner girls. It's purely economic and prestige.

Too many girls here are marrying UNIFIL Soldiers from "superior" nationalities such as Spanish , Germans ....

Indian and Pakistani regiments don't have a chance, those poor guys.

And oh , the southern Lebanese girls (Muslim Shiites and mostly Hezbollah supporters) are the ones in particular who are marrying UNIFIL soldiers , the same people who shout "Death to USA", "Death to the WEST" and who very rarely would accept to let their daughters marry non-Muslim Lebanese men.

But when it comes to a 'superior nationality' *wink wink* , everything becomes smooth and fine and their parents would see those Christians as Muslims' best friends. *wink wink*

Im not saying this is the answer for all of the guys here to just move abroad, but i definitely think there is some truth to this article. This article isnt talking about everyone in the US. There are going to be lot who don't fit the stereotype.

I am reading this and reading some David DeAngelo "becoming a man" self-help and some other text as well "The Power of Now".

I consider myself fairly regular looking I guess. I am 6 feet tall, a little on the skinny side with not the best posture though.

Would I have a good chance in your country? Do people in the middle east really hate Americans as much as we are led to believe? I also have a Jewish name, how would that fare in an Islamic country?

I just don't believe other countries are as materialistic as America besides Canada and the UK. If they are, its because of our TV media and Music and whatever else influence we are exporting.
