When it comes to dating it seems aspie women want what NT want- that element of intimacy is crucial to the union. I'm also really tired and drunk, so I hope this makes sense. At the same time, a lot are asexual, which makes me wonder if there is a link between AS and asexuality.

On a different key note, I'd like to date an aspie girl and see how well I match up. Maybe she'd be more understanding of my strange need for solitude? Maybe that would work against the relationship as bad as it did my other relationships?

I met one girl online with HFA who was asexual...they really didn't explain why they were...although I have no clue if that is a common thing with girls with Autism.

I'd like to meet one at least to see how they compare to NTs....I'm not judging either....as I really haven't met one before...if I had, I'd make up my mind whether they are generally better suited for me then NT girls.

I actually know a number of them of legal age, but they don't seem high enough functioning to date. I take that back, one does, but we'd probably be better off as casual friends. Too bad I can't meet some of the girls here on WP.

Well, I want that too, and I'm male and not neurotypical. The difference for me is in the amount of intimate contact... I think I can definitely get by on less, and too much will destroy me.

There does seem to be.

I think everyone is different. Hard to create a response to such a generalised idea.

Nag nag nag, stop leaving your socks on the floor!

Really, I have no idea. People are people, regardless of diagnosis and every person has their own quirks. :)

The_Face_of_Boo, I think an appropriate pic for where this conversation went is in order.

This confuses me too...don't they sound feminine like every woman in the world?

Other then that, there is a chance you'll find an Aspie girl who's got different interests to an NT girl that are more to a guy's wavelength...AS or NT.
