*to those that might and will question it.. i know what i am talking about okay?! i've been around, though i can't point you to where my thousands of reasons are posted as to why i wanna, for its scattered everywhere.. plus i'm not your regular NT and i was thought to be an endophenotype autistic here, whatever that exactly is, for having such kinship..

i just really want my aspie back.. i dont really wanna lose him..

but..

I really wanna date an aspie..

because of and particularly my aspie..
and because of people here like emlion, auntblabbly, etc.
and others that i can't just say & those i can't remember their usernames..

i'm really very attracted to, and very fond of, and at home with aspies..
but there are none around me.. :(

Whilst there's nothing wrong in going for a person with similar traits to the ones you like in people, I wouldn't suggest just aiming for an 'aspie'. We're not interchangeable.

It kinda sounds like you're not over your ex yet.

yeah i am not.. but its what attracted me to him very much too.. i dont get it myself and this was also discussed in one of my threads.. i try to connect to other NT's, the same way i do with the people here, and it doesnt work for me. its all the same like before i met my aspie..

i do..
i dont know.. he said no when i asked him to give me a chance to work it out and he no longer answer my calls then..

he said he's affecting me negatively and i didn't learn anything.. but he's never there when i'm okay and see how he's affecting me positively.. he's only referring when i cry to him when i miss him or i'm worried.. though i kinda knew i was in a test but i never even knew what it was nor that everything else i did well will not matter.

have you tried writing to him calmly about how you feel and how everything makes you feel.
it helped my relationship immensely when it almost broke down the other day.
letters are so much easier to understand to me than crying and feelings.

if you still feel so strongly, don't give up.

i text, i know he reads them.. i explained there.. its just that he always expect the worst from me,i think because of his pasts, but he is always wrong. This happened before but i was able to get a hold of him and we were able to talk, and there were no 'goodbye' from him then, but this time there was.

i do still feel very strongly and i am not giving up..
but what if he already had given up on me or himself with me?

uhm.. i actually wanna leave this country because of this and i am already working on it; because he came here and he's staying..

if he's given up, i'm not sure if there's much you can do.

still, i believe an actual letter says a lot more than a text.

No, you don't want this. I was given such a test. It's ridiculous now when I think about it for me to have even agreed, such was my love and desperation to keep the relationship.

I will give you a week to prove yourself to me. At the end of the week, if I think you passed and were a good person, then we can continue.

It is disrespectful because it discounts everything that was good and pure in the relationship and you only have this glaring sin now (whatever it is) that you must do penance for.

I think, too, that most of the time, when aspie men say that something is over, it's over. They have their minds made up and just sparing your feelings.

I'm sorry you're going through this.

hi Esther.. thank you..
not that i agreed, i just ignored it when he first said i didnt learn anything.. i actually share the same sentiments you have about this, i just went with it because i love him.. i could still see him more or bigger than the matter/issue; but the test was bigger than i am, and thats also why i wasn't not giving up, but now i also have to find another way for myself with all this..

I agree completely. For future reference McNbl, if anyone ever tries to 'test' you or plays mind games, that's a huge red flag to dump the s**t out of them.

I don't mean to make light of what you're feeling right now. I've been through heartbreak and it hurts. But I think this may be one of those occasions where you'll eventually look back and realised you dodged a bullet.

McNbl you seem like a very nice person and I think you will find a lovely person who is a good match for you one day.

Hi Lene.. i know and i understand.. and yeah, i know what you're all trying to say about all this.. i do not approve nor ever liked tests in any kind of relationships, i told him that after.. it never does anybody any good.. if i should learn anything i should be walked to it or at least assisted not tested, like be helped to realize whatever it is.

maybe.. but i already took in bullets, but i know i'm also partly responsible for the hits i got for i kinda am the one who pulled the trigger on myself.. about eventually looking back; i am not there yet, its not where i'd just be looking back at it, and i dont know when i'll get there.. and we cant all say for sure that's how its going to be, but dont worry im not also saying that it won't be..

and....

Thank you Zen Mistress i do hope so but i'm not too sure about it right now.. i tried to give other people a chance, the usually good ones or good catches but they cant capture my interest or at least maintain it. everyone (NT's) is so predictable, boring, usual, shallow, ignorant, soul-less.. thats why i want to date an aspie..

but i do beg all of you, please never perceive my aspie as a bad person with all that you know i went and going through with him.. the effects of what he did maybe bad to and for me but he is not. i know he never meant for those and i know he wishes me well, it could just also be me. and that he just didn't know that it would affect me like this..

The man I was married to was not, is not, and will never be a bad person (not even if he tried). So I certainly know where you're coming from. I blamed myself for a long time for the protracted break up and came to the conclusion that we were neither good nor bad. We just were not right for each other.

Joining WP helped me tremendously and posting gibberish in the adult forum has erased all sorts of residual guilt I may have had. ;) I jest.

I hope that you're able to work it out with him. Is it a long-distance relationship? That would of course compound the difficulties. Good luck to you both.
