Critique this Aspie dating advice?
I recently asked a question on a local Q&A site about sex and dating, and surprisingly got some well-intended ideas and suggestions. I'm wondering what other Aspies here think of some of this stuff--learning physical social cues that go into flirting and dating (and how to do so!), dating another Aspie (any AS women in Seattle want to try it?), communicating interest in/attraction to a girl without coming off creepy or inappropriate... Have you tried these things? How have they worked for you? How/where do you learn these things?
After nothing but rejections and frustration, I've been in a period of not bothering to try dating for the last few months. Though I'm aching for this awesome girl who already has a boyfriend. I discussed this Questionland post and its responses with my therapist, and she's trying some RDI with me now (Relationship Development Intervention). I haven't really researched it and wonder if others have experience with it or found it helpful. For now I figure it can't hurt. I'm sure my missing social cues and not being aggressive or clear enough about touching or pursuing women I like hurts me, but I'm skeptical that it's the entire answer and I'll suddenly get dates and have girlfriends once I figure it out. In my experience, you overcome one obstacle only to discover more that still keep you single and involuntarily celibate.
Thanks.

That is very useful stuff to learn but learning it is no guarantee we will be successful with the dating scene. The typical dating scene is impossible for some for various rezones. Some may not be capable of learning all those things or they could have other issues & problems that make it impossible for them. There are alternatives to try if the dating scene is impossible like mail-order brides

The majority of Aspies do eventually date and have sex and even get married, it might just take them longer than ordinary people. Some people remain virgins forever, but not the majority.
The more you practice socializing and the more motivated and persistent you are, the better you'll get at it. That'll only increase your chances of meeting someone. It's a difficult and unpleasant thing to force yourself to socialize with the constant risk of rejection, but if you can be stubborn and driven enough and have a game plan and support from someone like a therapist, you can do it. I used to be incapable of even asking a person the time, let alone starting a conversation with someone I was attracted to. It took me years, but I did learn to socialize almost normally even though it's all an act.
The only way you could assure yourself of remaining a virgin forever would be to never even try to meet anyone. You may never achieve the level of a Casanova, but at least you don't have to become some weird creepy person mumbling to a potted plant in the corner. Every effort you make and every improvement you achieve will help you a lot for the rest of your life. Just don't allow the first few failures to discourage you. You will fail a lot at first and it will take time to improve.
Also make sure that you get, and take, the advice of someone on your hairstyle and clothing. Wearing stuff that's out of date or doesn't match prevents you from being able to impress girls with your wit and charm. You must dress the part if you want to act the part.
I don't know... Good place to start might be to ditch the avatar of a man with a woman over his knee, spanking her, with the caption "If your husband finds out". It's sleazy and creepy... and I'm a dude.
Also, your question is "How do I find a sex partner?" That's just the wrong question. The question is "How do I make an authentic connection with a woman?" The connection precedes the sex, both chronologically and in importance.
It's not hard to pick up on it when a guy is only after one thing, especially if he's not usually successful at it....
