Generally speaking...

Women are explicit in their feelings and implicit in their logic.
And men are implicit in their feelings and explicit in their logic.

In other words, a woman will tell you how she feels and expect you to understand why, and a man will perform a task and expect you to realize his feelings on the matter.

SammichEater agrees with the above statement.

Generally yeah.

I know people who are implicit with both.

Sounds about right, at least for the people I know :)

There's a Lebanese proverb is said when someone states the obvious or discovers a commonly well-known fact:

شو اكتشفت البارود ؟

Translation: you discovered the gunpowder?

Sometimes the 'obvious' though gets lost in the shuffle and merits more examination. That and, for as much of a mud maelstrom as our society throws at us in bad information, its far from necessarily being obvious.

that phrase appears so achingly beautiful that i imagine even grocery lists written in your language look like poetry.

EDIT: sorry, OT

You didn't say whether you followed the general trend, and I can't work out if it was implicit!

E=mc^2 was actually pretty obvious. It was just never explicitly articulated until Albert came along so it got overlooked.

argh...I hate that women are emotional stuff....ugggggghhhhh.... 8O

I so don't fit that. I don't do feelings. Not well anyway. I go almost aphasic, well totally aphasic at times. Other times, I'll screw up what I'm trying to say so it would've been better if I'd not said anything. Logic, I'll be explicit as it gets.
