Best place to meet an aspie partner?
I have left a three year relationship with the first love. It was hard at the time, but after a while I feel ready to enter the dating circuit again.
I always seem attracted to guys who have aspie qualities-My last boyfriend was autistic and ADD. But I loved those qualities of him, I could relate. Every guy I've been interested in has also had aspie qualities, and a couple of which were diagnosed. I've approached two saying I liked them, but was rejected. The first was a dick, who started snogging my best friend straight after I left the room. The seconds in unrequited love with an unattainable female who has no interest in him, apart from as a friend. He does have obsessive qualities, so I know there's no chance to win him over.
It seems like since my last rejection, I've run out of ways to meet new men. I am in a very tight-knit group of friends, and they cannot introduce any new guys into the social stream. I've built up my confidence in speaking to people, but am still shy. Considering my type of guy is shy that's obviously a bad thing.
I was abused as a child, so have to become friends with a man first before I can consider him as a partner. Unfortunately, because of this I usually get friendzoned.
My basic question is if any of you have any tips on how too meet someone new. I feel lonely as I'm the only aspie in my group, and although they love me as a friend I'm still the groups weirdo XD. NT guys usually don't cut it with me. They usually put me right off them with their cheesy lines and attitudes.

You are very likely an Aspie
Look for aspie adult meetups.
Libraries and bookstores might work, especially if you hang around the hard sciences or science fiction sections. Aspie guys that are open to relationships will usually not mind an aspie girl talking to them out of the blue... might make their day.
If you think you're friendzoned and the guy doesn't have a girlfriend and isn't pining for some other girl, you might not be in the friendzone after all. You just might have to make the first move. My wife started our relationship with a surprise makeout session late one night.
