The TFL people make me want to vomit. Biggest pack of whiners I've seen.

They are completely blind to the ugly realities of what actually drives things like "love" and "romance" and attribute it to something like ZOG or some other horses**t.

I stopped listening after the 'expert' said "It's a hard time to be a man".

roflmao at this f*****g claptrap....sorry for the language, but it's utter b.s.

This sort of victim-minded discourse is a disease. But hey guys, go ahead and believe it if you want. When life throws a little adversity at you, you've got something to blame, right? You can give up after a few tries at life, comforted in your belief that the world is against you and you never had a chance anyway.

If I were one to believe in conspiracy theories, I'd say this was a ploy by a certain segment of males to keep others down in effort to reduce competition. But more likely it's a bunch of males who realize they can make a buck praying on the insecurities of some men by telling them what they want to hear.

TFL has lots and lots of issues, but "it's a hard time to be a man" is not one of them.

Even NT males have a hard time these days.

Society now considers women strong enough to do whatever a man can do, but still worthy of sympathy whenever anything goes wrong.

Men are just expected to do it and suck it up whenever anything goes wrong. Having a Y chromosome basically means you get no sympathy and no slack in this society.
Can't get a job? It's your fault. Can't get a girl? Must be something wrong with you.

Women on the other hand? Can't get a job? Must be those horrible men's fault. Society needs to help you out with some affirmative action. Can't find a man? Those horrible pigs should be ashamed!! !

I don't blame women. I blame the culture.

Sounds OK to me.

Can't get a job? Keep looking...
Can't get a girl? Keep trying to improve yourself...

What do you want? Congress to pass a law giving you the job/girlfriend you're entitled to?

The "men have it harder" attitude, is just used to justify failure. Excuses are worthless.

No, I want an end to the double standards.

Your replies are perfect examples of exactly what I was talking about though. :)

This does have some basis in fact... With feminism, the dating dynamic has changed, not to mention divorce rates being off the chart...

None of that excuses the perceived victimization exemplified in this broadcast. There have always been people ignored, and there have always been people who ignore them - intentionally or otherwise.

Most importantly, there is some balance. Generally, men run from woman to woman being rejected. In a strip club, women approach men and ask if they want a lap dance, and the men get to say "No; NEXT!"

Hooray for comedy central.

So until that happens, what are you going to do? Mope around and lament to any who will listen how your life is so unfair?

By the way, the reality is that Men are still top dog. So the premise is flawed to begin with. They make the most money on average, they hold more positions of power. Look at the top wealthiest lists, and 90% of their members are old white dudes. United States representatives...from the local to the national, vast majority are men. Any objective social study one reads tells you that men are in control by far. Yeah, men may be feeling a loss of power and control, but that is only reasonable as things come more and more into balance.

Read something interesting not long ago:

"[T]rue gender equality is actually perceived as inequality. A group that is made up of 50% women is perceived as being mostly women. A situation that is perfectly equal between men and women is perceived as being biased in favor of women.

And if you don’t believe me, you’ve never been a married woman who kept her family name. I have had students hold that up as proof of my “sexism.” My own brother told me that he could never marry a woman who kept her name because “everyone would know who ruled that relationship.” Perfect equality – my husband keeps his name and I keep mine – is held as a statement of superiority on my part.

LOL. The top .00001% of wealth is never going to change hands without a revolution. Women aren't going to break into that "big club" as George Carlin described it any more likely than the bottom 99.99999% of men are. This is just a fallacy used to handicap the the bottom 99.99999% men in the struggle for the scraps that this "big club" leave behind.

I wish #OccupyWallStreet the best of luck in correcting this situation, but I don't have a lot of faith that any real change will happen.

The fact that most men are not powerful doesn't change the fact that the vast majority of those who are - from politics to economics to major media institutions-, are men. The determiners of reality for almost the entire planet are male.

I agree, about OWS- and, like you, don't see that the people in the high-rise offices are anything but very amused among themselves at the goings-on far below.

I should think twice before coming into these silly threads.

Yep they will be amused... but the improbable might happen and they will find their plush air conditioned offices stormed by zombie dressed masses.

This kind of peacefull protests have been going on for a while in spain(15-may/now)and I can assure you that while there are some people that refuse to listen to it most people are paying more attention towards what people are asking and trying to look for a solution.

Just so you have an idea the Santander´s(most important bank in spain)last meeting was interrupted by some public protesters because most of the administration agreed with them and allowed them to go in(to botin´s dismay ).

As for the video meh we get one of this videos once a month and if youve watched one of them you´ve seen them all(I tried to watch them with an open mind but they all provide the same arguments which just goes to show how intelligent this people are since they cant come up with their own arguments.)

Let us solve this with some advanced mathematics

man+woman=relationship

Hmm that's strange...According to my formula, just as many men are in relationships as women...
