i dont know how to make my ex of 6yrs to go back to how we were, we have drifted apart and she is done trying and i dont want to let go, is there anything i can do without embarrasing myself?
is it best to move on?

Before I render an opinion, may I please inquire why you drifted apart? Were you in a monogamous, committed, exclusive relationship for the entire 6 years?

End of the day, commitment has its privileges (companionship, making love) but it also has it responsibilities (compromise, having each others backs and being there for each other without exception).

Perhaps, the crux of the matter is did you have each other's backs without exception? Why did the relationship cease to move forward?

It's been my personal experience that objective introspection and root cause analysis will usually ferret out the answers you seek!
