#1 Reason Why I'm Concentrating More on my Job Search Now
Real quote from an otherwise decent online dating profile:
As someone still living at home and unhappily unemployed, I can't help but be someone bothered by how many girls in my age range think that just because I don't have a job (or my own place), that I am a directionless loser.
As much as I don't want my unemployed status to be a dealbreaker (and I'm still casually looking), I've started to become content with the fact that I probably wouldn't have a serious chance for a relationship until I'm working and living on my own (whenever that may be).

Wise decision.
Keep in mind that the more you grow, the more girls would expect from you.
For example, for a 20 yo guy the job thing wouldn't be an issue but girls would expect from him to be a student at least.
For your age, girls would expect you to be in a mid-career already and,in your culture at least, even having a flat of your own.
For a 35, a career....etc

I also think this is a great decision. Aside from the obvious stigma associated with being that age and unemployed, it is better to focus on employment, as finding a job will give you increased confidence and life satisfaction. Women are very attracted to someone with confidence and a positive attitude, and I am optimistic that gaining a job (or even having a few good interviews) will assist you with both of these things. Best of luck.

This misdiagnosis caused me significant stress, which lessened upon finding out the truth about myself from my current and past long-term therapists - that I am an anxious and highly sensitive person but do not have an autism spectrum disorder.
My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.
