I'm 19 and I've known this girl for 8 months and I see her every once awhile and obviously me having AS, it's difficult for me to see the signals and of course give off the correct signals, so she always interacts with me, rests her head on my shoulder, when I say I have to go she says stay for a bit, and she even tries to hold my hand, these are just a few of the signals. But I don't know whether she's being friendly or she's just comfortable in my company, what do you guys think does she like me as in more than a friend? :)

You should ask her, and not a bunch of strangers on a social website.

No he shouldn't.

To the OP, I would say there's a good chance. Do you like this girl? If so, don't tell her. Act like you're acting now, but maybe lead her into something like a date or whathaveyou. In other words, stay in control. Don't give in to her even if you do like her. She will be more attracted to you if you resist.

For example, when you say you have to go and she says stay for a bit, don't immediately give in. If you do so, she will know she can easily control you and whatever attraction she felt for you before will diminish. You can either say "No, I really gotta go. I can't stay." and then but out, or if you're feeling creative, you can say "I really got to go", turn around and act as if you're leaving, and then a few moments later turn back around and say "One thing before I go though" and kiss her.

Try this out and see how it goes!

+1 to Fnord's reply.

I'd also add the irony of asking questions about body language and social queues from a bunch of strangers brought together by common the pathologies of not being good at reading body language and social queues....

People are hard to predict, so its probably hard for us to tell you the way you behave will get the reaction you want or how she will react.

I have no advice and can't tell you whether she likes you or not, but I am posting to wish you the best in this situation. 8)

if it goes well, after you do this, ask her out on a date!

just say "you wanna go on a date with me on X day?"
