Creative/Different Date Ideas?? Help!

My boyfriend and I pretty much do the same thing every time we meet....ok not every time, but we usually just go to coffee shops and work on our computers and chat and drink tea and then walk around and talk some more......pretty much this is what we do if we're not having dinner or lunch out somewhere. I recently came up with going jogging, but now that's starting to look kind of blah....and tonight we were both trying to think of fun things but just came up with jogging again......what else is there to do for fun?? We live in a place where it snows, and it's getting REALLY cold now. Any ideas?? Anything helps!! Thanks!!

Bowling. No, I'm not kidding. Even if you've never bowled, even if you don't drink alcohol, it can be quite entertaining. Great place to people-watch, too.

I'll pull some things out from the list that questions28 and I have made, maybe to give you a bit of inspiration. (Warning: These may or may not be much too childish for you adults to handle. Tip: Embrace your inner kid!)

Play tug of war with a scarf.
Finger Paint.
Make potato prints.
Sing a duet together.
Make pillow forts and have a pillow fight.
Go to the beach while it's snowing. (Conveniently enough, it's snowing for you So I pulled out this)
Do yoga together.

Just a few ideas. Hope I've reawakened your inner kid!

Maybe you could find a game you both like, and could play it together, like Fluxx or something else from looney labs. Or do something charitable such as make holiday cards together to send to soldiers or to take to the elderly at a nursing home who need a little brightness in their room. Or you could volunteer together at an animal shelter to play with cats and dogs who are waiting for homes.

Make anatomically-correct snow angels.

This is pretty standard but I'll suggest it anyways. Sense it's getting cold you could stay inside & cuddle/snuggle while watching TV or listening to music or just talk instead or just enjoy the moment. That's my idea of the perfect date

scuba diving.

Make a snow Dalek. No really. It'd be fun.

A winter hike. No need to climb a mountain. Just find an interesting trail at a local park.

Climb a mountain. A small one. Bring a camera and binoculars.

Fly a kite.

Go find some nerdy thing to do where you live. Like a D&D game you can watch. Or a SciFi convention.

Go to a museum.

Go to a zoo or a botanical garden. Bring a camera with you.

Look on meetup and see if there are any interesting groups near you. They usually meet at restaurants and coffee shops in the evenings and weekends.

Go see a movie or a play.

Go to a concert.

I think I made my point. There are tons of things to do. Don't be afraid to step outside the familiar and go out and try something new.

A casual game of darts or pool in the pub doesn't go a miss.

However, I think if it's cold, the best thing to do is play party games like Uno or Twister, play videogames or watch movies.
