Well when that happens I tend to take advantage of my own 'guilty pleasures'......or I just feel that way until it goes away or I force myself to sleep or something.

I sit alone in my room and rock and say things to myself asking myself why no body wants me around and then go to bed and rock and cry until I fall asleep.

Hee hee, that's a very interesting typo. :-) Looks almost intended!

I tend to bite my fingernails or even my fingers, pick at scabs, and other such minor self-destructive things.

since i found out that the human mind can only hold one discrete thought in working memory at any given time, i determined that i would chase away any ungood thoughts, and replace them with better thoughts. since it is only one thought at a time that i have to redact and replace, that isn't too much trouble. i will not dwell on loneliness. i will not let other humans make me feel worse about myself, as they who would do such things to me are just stinky barking dogs, AFAIC. but when i feel out of sorts, i am prone to rocking to comfort myself. or i'll go out for a long vigorous bike ride up and down the hills of my local corner of yahooland. or i'll consort with suzie silicone [thank god for modern technology :) ]. or i'll go onto wrong planet and entertain myself there. or i'll attend to my collection of thousands of old recordings in need of digitization, restoration and archiving onto long-term media. there is always something to do. i do wish there was a lap-sized swimming pool near where i live, i miss just swimming miles of laps, that was a great stress reliever.

You bear (carry) a large load, but you bare (uncover) your teeth.

I tend to get kinda b!thcy & complain about it. I'm hoping someone will reach out to me & become more than a friend so then I could talk to her to avoid feeling lonely & I could get emotional support when I'm stressed

Crank the music, pick up my sticks, and practice until I feel ready to pass out and then read until I do pass out.

Both acts completely blank my mind to anything but what I am doing.

Depends on the severity and what the underlying problem is.

If it's mild, I lose myself in a video game.

If it's moderate, I lay on my back and throw a ball up and down(stim) and play relaxing music.

It it's severe, I shut down for a while, and try to meditate when I start coming back to myself.

If it's moderate and accompanied by anger, I take a long drive in my car, crank someone like this song here as loud as I can bear, and yell myself hoarse.

I'm so guilty of doing this too. haha I hate complainers but for some reason when I have an issue, and complain about it to someone, it makes me feel better.....I should really change my view about complainers....
