I am content with being by myself. I don't need to be in a relationship with someone else to define who I am. I have finally accepted the fact I have some type of HFA that is not conducive to LTR.

I tried to be in a relationship but I scare guys away and they misunderstand me. Go figure. I'd rather give up and dating and enjoy life being single than be depressed about being alone for my entire life. I have other things in my life that make me happy. I'll put my energy into my work rather than into relationships.

I agree. Mid thirties seems like a bad time to start learning and practicing a relationship.
