How do you feel about make-up?
Does it look beautiful? Does it turn you on?
If you set a date with somebody for the first time, do you prefer that he/she wears make-up?

Rodland, I think women are individuals with varying levels of attractiveness. Some women need makeup more than others. I would go on to say that the mark of a really beautiful woman is one who can look very attractive with little or no makeup.

As far as men go, men don't wear makeup--at least not in my part of Texas. Do European men wear makeup?

More power to Jack Sparrow, but I prefer men without makeup, thankyouverymuch.

On the other hand, I don't wear makeup so I kind of expect a guy to see me as hawt without it.

I don't understand why women only *have* to wear make-up. Most men are really, really ugly.

So why do women wear makeup? To attract men? What do men do to attract women? Be themselves?

Fun. But when I wear make-up, I wear it like a guy wearing makeup, not like a girl.

I'm not a fan of make-up. I'm more attracted to women with real & natural looks. Too much make-up makes women look trashy & trampy

Makeup can be hot under the right circumstances, similar to heels and dresses, but for the most part I'm not a big fan of it. I understand that for formal events and stuff maybe a dress and high heels and lipstick is presumed, but it's when someone consistently puts makeup on when they go to the store that it bugs me. I'm not a big fan of formal events anyway.

I used to get angry when women had makeup on, and I would get all self-righteous about it, saying it's degrading and all, but I grew out of that phase once I learned that there are certain social situations that it's OK, and that sometimes women enjoy it for the fun of it.

I don't like it

Yes it does but too much doesn't. It doesn't turn me on.

No I wouldn't. Make up looks weird on men.

I don't like it when some guys say some women look like men without make-up, and that some need it. I don't think anyone needs it.

my experience with make up is that men 'ask you out' when your wearing lots of make up then spend the rest of the relationship deriding you for wearing it.

I don't have the tolerance or time management skills to put on make-up every day. Depending on the person wearing or applying it, make-up can look beautiful on a person. I'm not turned on by women and surely not by guys wearing it (unless they're like on tv). I'd prefer for a guy I'm dating not to wear make-up lol.

To me, putting on make-up all the time feels like lying. Lying about your skin and for some, your age. I prefer for people to be as they are and if that means they have blemishes, wrinkles, or whatever than so be it. Society's too superficial.

Actually, I think guys look quite good in make-up. E.g. sometimes goths do.
