Okay, this happened about 6 months ago... I was out with a meal with a few people and there was a girl on her own waiting... I'll not say why as she may see this and think I am some stalking creep or something... We had a nice conversation and she was being super friendly... she wanted to offer me something which I think was just rather generous. I declined two of them but I did get a hug and her number... That's it really, I did text her and ring her here and there seeing if she wanted to meet again... I got no response really and I do not get why this happened when quite clearly the time we met was good and could see no faults from my side of things? Discuss...

Maybe I'm thinking too much about it and should just put it down as some kind of experience...

Well unless you really know her side of the story you'll truly know whether or not you did anything specifically "wrong" in that situation.
Say she was just rather busy after that, or something else came up.
To me it seems like you approached the situation correctly, maybe next time just be a bit more outgoing and that possibly that may higher the chances of a future meeting?

She doesn't like you, simple as.

Yeah. Also I know not to take a friend as it doesn't work... It feels like you are being watched... and it puts you off.
I'd totally would do this alone.
