It will be more helpful to any potential applicants if you put a vague idea of where you live. Not much point in a woman in New Zealand PMing you if you live in the UK and neither have ongoing connections to each other's countries (and visit regularly), for example.

If I understand correctly, Tequila, I don't think she's trying to initiate a romantic relationship--I think she's just trying to find someone with whom she can exchange advice for dealing with the situation.

Then again, I see that she's looking for "affectionate, personal correspondence" so that makes me wonder if she's actually looking to cheat on her current girlfriend/fiancee/wife.

I live in Northern California. But would be happy to PM with the right person no matter where she lives.

The person I live with is now only a friend. Once it was romantic, but that ended over 12 years ago. We have separate lives as far as romance goes, and I got none for 12 years. It hurts.

If you really are separate, and she is living her own life, then it's not really cheating.

I agree. I wasn't quite sure. But why are you living together still if it hurts so much?

And why on Earth did the OP wait so long to start looking for someone else?

Am in a long-term, no longer physical and barely affectionate relationship. Sure would like to find someone on here who is looking for affectionate, personal correspondence so I'm starting this thread to see if I can help myself while maybe helping others in this area.

I'm a woman who likes women. Just want to chat in a friendly, affectionate and maybe later mildly romantic way.

Anyone else out there in this condition?

Hello. I am not in a relationship currently. Its really just friends I want right now. Not so great at relationships lol. I identify as a lesbian and I do get lonely. Its not that I absolutely hate romance and physical contact its just I don't seem to need it as much as other people. On occasion I get down about not having anyone - I'm human after all but I tend to live in my own world lol. I live in new England and I am 30. We can PM if you would like. Just feel free to leave something in my inbox if you wish :)

I thought you'd react to that which is why I said it. Just testing. ;)

I have never had a proper relationship so I am not in this condition.
I would like to have a WP penpalship with a hint of romance.

I am interested in men. No neo-nazis, Christian fundamentalist and arrogant a**holes.
A sense of humor would be nice. Someone to exchange playful words with over the internet.

I once had a male penpal on WP but he seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth.
I think we should have a WP dating service thread with an interesting and original survey to fill out.
