1. What do you do for a living? What would you like to do for a living? I can be your dream job if you would like.
I'm on Social Security Disability. I've had 3 jobs in the past. 1st was a dish-washer at IHOP for 10months, 2nd was floor-cleaning at WalMart for 25months. 3rd was 3months doing custodial at a sporting-goods store. I have a few disabilities that limit my employment options my main one being an extremely rare low vision disorder. I'm very nearsighted & have some colorblindness & light sensitivity. I cant drive because of it & I live in a rural area so my employment options are extremely limited here. I didn't mind what I was supposed to be doing at WalMart; I was averaging 55hours a week by the time I left because we were very short-handed & I didn't mind working a lot. I miss working because it got me out of the house, got me being around people & it was helping me grow a a person. I'd basically like to find a job I could do fairly well & not be too stressed out about.
2. Where are you from? No addresses!
Schriever, Louisiana which is a little over an hour away from New Orleans(or NorLens as some here pronounce it)
3. What makes you unique and not average?
Most things about me make me very unique.
4. What are your interests, passions or obsessions?
I don't really have any obsessions rite now. My partner would be my obsession if I had one.
.
5. What are you looking for in a relationship?
Companionship; someone to be my partner, best friend, share my life with someone
6.What do you do for fun?
Watch Family Guy, watch vids, listen to music, post on WP & other online stuff
7.What are your political, philosophical and religious beliefs?
I'm liberal but I don't talk about politics much so I don't think politics would mater much in a relationship unless my partner was the type to want me to go to the Republican convention with her. I'm straight-edge but I'm not expecting my partner to be. I'm a Secular-Humanist but my family is Catholic & I went to a Catholic high-school; I try to be respectful of others religious beliefs & I would not have a problem being with someone who is religious as long as she was respectful of me not being religious; I'd go to church with her but I'd rather not take part in the sacraments.
8. What is the first thing that attracts you to a person?
She's nice towards me & I think she may be willing to give me a chance.
9.What is your most treasured possession and why?
I'm not sure. I don't have strong attachments to objects.
10.What is your favorite month of the year and why?
Don't have one & I never really thought about it.
11. What are your favorite books?
I don't read much except online.
12. What are your favorite films?
I don't watch that many movies but I'm not that picky. I'll watch most any movie if I was with someone.
13. What is the last book you have read? What is the last film you have seen?
I haven't really read books sense I graduated high-school. I haven't been to the movies in a very long time because the theatre here raised their prices a lot.
14. Which is your favorite music genre, favorite artist and favorite album? More than one would work too.
Pop & comedy are my favorite music types but I like a wide variety of music including classic-rock, EMO, punk, some country, 80s, some 70s, light/soft rock
15. Do you like animals? Do you have any pets?
I'm not a huge animal lover but I certainly do NOT hate them. I liked them more when I was little & I would get into them more if I was with someone who was. I have a chinchilla
16. If you could travel back through time, when and wear would you go?
I'm not sure
17. Who was your hero, as a child? Now?
I liked BatMan as a kid but I never really had a hero. I focus on being me instead of trying to emulate anyone.
18. What makes you laugh/cry?
Adult cartons like Family Guy make me laugh as well as stand-up comics & comedy music. What makes me cry is going through something in my life. I been through an extremely bad depression years ago; I'm over it now but I talk about it when it's relevant to things & I'd like to use my experience to help someone going through something if I can because I know it would of helped me a lot if I would of had someone who would of sympathized with me & been there for me.
19. Which T.V. show is your favorite?
Family Guy
20. What is the last album that you bought?
Not sure but it was probably a comedy music artist because a lot of them are not mainstream enough to be shared illegally online. I'm a pirate.
21. Are you a morning person or a night person?
I'm more of a night person but I can adjust my scheduled when I have a reason to
22. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I hate living here but I don't really have any other options rite now. I'd be extremely willing to relocate if I had a partner so I am very willing to do the long-distance thing.
23. What is your favorite sporting activity?
I hate sports.
24.What aspie stereotypes do not describe you?
Being very smart; I struggled in most of my classes due to dyslexia & ADHD/ADD. Having special skills/talents; my skills in areas Aspies tend to be good at are worse than the typical NT. I'm also the opposite of the stereotypical Aspie in a relationship; I love being affectionate, close & intimate with my partner; I love discussing feelings & trying to work on issues together; I talk to my partner before making any decision because having someone to talk it over with helps me make better decisions & I believe in sharing everything with my partner including decisions; I want to spend as much time as possible with my partner & I hate being away from her.
25. What is your sexual orientation?
I'm hetroromantic & sort of on the asexuality spectrum. I have a sex drive but I handle it myself & never had sex. I don't really desire sex unless my partner does. I think of sex as more about being close, affectionate & intimate with my partner & making her happy.
26. How do you think others perceive you?
It depends on the person. I tend to be shy, quiet, withdrawn, & awkward with people I don't know well offline. People who know me better think of me as a very sweet caring loyal friend
27. What sort of clothing do you usually wear?
white T-shirt & shorts; it tends to be hot & humid here.
28. Do you like art? If yes explain.
I have no interest in it but that's to be expected sense I have vision problems.
29. Describe yourself in 6 words?
lonely, supportive, sensitive, misunderstood, well-intentioned, d0Rk
30. Describe your sense of humor. If applicable.
I kind of covered it some in question 18; What makes you laugh.
31. Do you want PMs in response to this thread?
YES. I'm looking for friends as well as a relationship. When it comes to a relationship; I'm mostly wanting someone who will give me a chance & will try to make a relationship work with me. I believe it takes commitment & compromise to make any relationship work. I would try going the mail-order bride route if I had the money & skills to travel because I have very little luck finding a woman to give me a chance & I truly believe that she would grow to love me as I grow to love her because of the way I would treat her & care about her.

Guess it wouldn't hurt to fill this out for everyone to see.
1. What do you do for a living? What would you like to do for a living? I can be your dream job if you would like.
Always thought of becoming an artist of some kind, whether it's stuff like paintings, cartoons, comics, manga/anime-esque stuff, etc. More recently, in the last decade, I've become more interested in video game design as well as writing stories. Right now, I'd be glad to have any job I could get, but honestly I don't see the economy getting any better around here any time soon.
2. Where are you from? No addresses!
My mother.
3. What makes you unique and not average?
I would say how odd I am but that seems to be a common trait around here. My sense of humor, maybe?
4. What are your interests, passions or obsessions?
Pretty much what I've listed as what I'd like to get a job doing. Love books and art and games. I like history but it's not a huge interest. Love music, too, but don't have the patience nor talent to go about making any myself.
5. What are you looking for in a relationship?
Big things would be understanding, honesty, and humor. I think it would be good to be able to find someone as laid back as I tend to be, not so caught up or stressed out on all the little things that don't really matter all that much. Somebody who I could connect to, not necessarily having anything to do with stuff like religion or political views or anything like that.
6.What do you do for fun?
Well, if I had money to go out and do stuff I'd probably be doing a lot more than I do now. Between going out and filling job applications, I play games with friends or just work on my own hobbies. Have yet to really finish any stories or games or anything, but I figure it's more important to work at honing general skills first and foremost.
7.What are your political, philosophical and religious beliefs?
This is a bit ague, considering there are a ton of different viewpoints to take into consideration, but I'll answer as best I can.
Guess you could say that I'm liberal, democratic, left wing, whatever else - though, I really think that the way things are set up as they are now, it's inevitable that things will only get worse regardless of which party is "right" or "wrong". I'm an atheist, if only because I figure it's a bit pointless to think of what will happen after death, and often disagree with the kind of lifestyles religions tell you that you have to live by. However, I don't mind that anyone else has different views than I do. Live and let live, only so long as they don't infringe upon another person's rights.
8. What is the first thing that attracts you to a person?
I don't think that there's any one specific quality. I don't tend to look for one, so much as it is a person's unique personality traits that catch my attention.
9.What is your most treasured possession and why?
Guess I used to have some, particularly from past girlfriends, but I don't like to be materialistic. I'd rather not hold onto physical objects in such a way. Memories themselves are what's important.
10.What is your favorite month of the year and why?
November, because that's when my birthday is. Love the coolish weather that is not quite yet freezing. Foliage is nice, too. Just the atmosphere in general.
11. What are your favorite books?
Love a lot of stuff by Stephen King. Have read many others, but have not really followed other authors consistently aside from Rowling and her Harry Potter series. Guess I'd say two favorites are 'The Dead Zone' and 'Flowers for Algernon'.
12. What are your favorite films?
Don't have too many that aren't already based off of books. I'll just go with 'Rubber' for how overly ridiculous it is.
13. What is the last book you have read? What is the last film you have seen?
'The Dead Zone' was actually the last book I read, more than a couple months ago. Used to read a lot more often, but haven't been able to find anything too interesting lately. Last movie I saw was 'We bought a zoo' with my sister. Nothing else was showing, really, and we got to go for free, so I was glad about that. Looking more forward to the Three Stooges.
14. Which is your favorite music genre, favorite artist and favorite album? More than one would work too.
Generally classic rock, though I really don't care about genres and will give anything a try. Favorite artists and bands range from the Beatles to the Talking Heads or Red Hot Chilli Peppers to Weird Al. Just a lot of variation. Not sure I could pick any favorite albums. Should note that I also enjoy video game soundtracks and that they can be just as good, if not better.
15. Do you like animals? Do you have any pets?
I like cats. Dogs, not so much. Family owns six cats, three of them leftover from my brother's ex girlfriends. Not all animals are created equal, though. Last cat brought in is a large pain in the ***. Animal cruelty should never be allowed, but this thing at least knows I hate it.
16. If you could travel back through time, when and wear would you go?
Probably to whatever time there's ever been some large event resulting in genocide or oppression and try to prevent it from happening.
17. Who was your hero, as a child? Now?
Can't really think of any one I've ever really looked up to in any way.
18. What makes you laugh/cry?
Not very hard to make me laugh at stuff like stupid jokes. Haven't really cried in about forever, though I imagine I would if I was in enough physical pain.
19. Which T.V. show is your favorite?
Well, I guess 'Lost' was my favorite before it ended. As of now, it's hard to decide, as it's easy to find flaws in otherwise decent shows. 'Once upon a time' is ok, as is 'Person of interest'. Funny shows like Family guy are good but not something I'd consider best show ever material.
20. What is the last album that you bought?
Don't really buy albums. Just tend to go to youtube and pretty much rip them off of there if I want them on my mp3 player.
21. Are you a morning person or a night person?
Night person. Hard to get up in the morning even if I do get the same exact amount of sleep. I end up feeling sick for some reason most of the time.
22. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Maybe Canada? I really can't think of any place that is better or worse than the other.
23. What is your favorite sporting activity?
Football, I guess. Really, though, I don't like sports much at all.
24.What aspie stereotypes do not describe you?
I can't really say. There are probably a ton I don't even know about. I guess one would be that I'm not ret*d, but that would be true for all.
25. What is your sexual orientation?
Straight.
26. How do you think others perceive you?
Depends on who you ask, but I think most see me as funny, laid back, reserved. Some friends used to think I was a pothead(and I guess I was for a while), but have come to the conclusion that it's some kind of front and that I just play dumb to hide how smart I am. I just prefer not to sound like I know everything, because I don't, and would rather just have a good time than to have to argue about everything.
27. What sort of clothing do you usually wear?
Any old t-shirt and jeans for me. Don't care much for fashion as long as it's comfy. Guess what I could say is that it tends to be baggy and more loose.
28. Do you like art? If yes explain.
Yes, all sorts of different kinds. Love comics, paintings, a ton of different art styles. It's definitely important to making a really stylized game, too. I'm not against realism in games, but not every game has to be, especially in order to be considered "mature".
29. Describe yourself in 6 words?
Funny, quiet, respectful, honest, thoughtful, artist
30. Describe your sense of humor. If applicable.
Seems like it would be hard to describe for anybody. I'll just say that I don't think there should be any laws placed on what can be funny and what can not. Humor is completely natural as well as personal. Putting arbitrary universal rules up about what is considered funny is only a form of censorship.
31. Do you want PMs in response to this thread?
Sure, if anyone feels like talking they can go ahead. Always open for any kind of conversation.

1. What do you do for a living? What would you like to do for a living? I can be your dream job if you would like.
I'm a telecommunications transmission technician.
2. Where are you from? No addresses!
Boston area.
3. What makes you unique and not average?
I pick up on things, usually positive things, that nobody else does.
4. What are your interests, passions or obsessions?
Movies, video games, literature, karaoke and fun.
5. What are you looking for in a relationship?
Someone that I can strive to understand and who will strive to understand me. Someone who accepts me for who I am. Someone who fills my gaps while I fill hers.
6.What do you do for fun?
I drink and sing and play stupid games like trivia.
7.What are your political, philosophical and religious beliefs?
I lean libertarian but I'd never want to put someone out in the cold who can't provide for themselves. My philosophy is hard to boil down but I believe that there are a-holes and good people in every community. I believe that people who think they are superior prove that they aren't by thinking that. I believe there's a God but I resent anyone telling me what to do about it and I certainly would never presume to tell anyone else what to do about it.
8. What is the first thing that attracts you to a person?
I have to notice something different about them.
9.What is your most treasured possession and why?
Right now it's my Jeep because of the freedom it gives me. I could just drive off and say "forget you!" to my little corner of the world. I probably won't but it's nice to know that I could. Short escapes can keep me sane.
10.What is your favorite month of the year and why?
Late September going into early October is my favorite 30 day span. I love the smell in the air, the sight of the leaves changing and I seem to have so much more energy.
11. What are your favorite books?
The Foundation and Robot books by Isaac Asimov, the Ender books by Orson Scott Card and the Prydain chronicles by Lloyd Alexander.
12. What are your favorite films?
"The Big Hit" "Breakfast at Tiffany's" "Star Wars" "Terminator 2" "The Goonies" "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" "Spartacus"
13. What is the last book you have read? What is the last film you have seen?
World War Z and Heathers.
14. Which is your favorite music genre, favorite artist and favorite album? More than one would work too.
My favorite music genre would have to pop, my favorite artist is Michael Jackson and my favorite album is the White Album by the Beatles. I know the album doesn't fit, but it's my favorite.
15. Do you like animals? Do you have any pets?
I love animals and I wish I could have a pet but I'm not home enough during the week to properly take care of one.
16. If you could travel back through time, when and wear would you go?
This question would have different answers depending on when you asked me but right now I'd go back to ancient Sicily to see the temple of Adephagia because I'm pretty curious about what went on there. Nobody knows!
17. Who was your hero, as a child? Now?
It changes but Captain America has always been at or near the top of the list.
18. What makes you laugh/cry?
I laugh when I'm having a good time with people I care about and I cry when I see someone or an animal hurting.
19. Which T.V. show is your favorite?
Right now it's "Being Human" but it might be "Walking Dead" or "Alphas" when those get new episodes again. I also like "Fringe" and "Terra Nova."
20. What is the last album that you bought?
I don't buy a lot of them and haven't for a long time, but the last one would be the 1997 reissue of Jimi Hendrix's "Are you experienced?" I think.
21. Are you a morning person or a night person?
I'm more of a night person.
22. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
A secluded house on Cape Cod, I wouldn't want to be too far from my family.
23. What is your favorite sporting activity?
American Football. There was a time I didn't like it, but my dad forced me to play it and after 4 years of that I started to really appreciate the nuances and complexities of the game.
24.What aspie stereotypes do not describe you?
My voice isn't monotone without inflection, I convey a lot with my voice even when I don't intend to. I can enjoy crowds as long as it's not often.
25. What is your sexual orientation?
Hetero with a smattering of optional paraphilias.
26. How do you think others perceive you?
They think I'm weird but lovable.
27. What sort of clothing do you usually wear?
Jeans or khakis and t-shirts or polo shirts.
28. Do you like art? If yes explain.
I appreciate comic book art, I can name a lot of comic book artists just by looking at their work. The ability to tell a story in pictures is under-rated. My mother was always into art and I'd look through her books sometimes. I remember in high school the teacher showing slides of famous works of art and I named the artists as she showed them when I noticed everyone in the class looking at me so I got self-conscious and shut up.
29. Describe yourself in 6 words?
Smart honest loyal helpful creative generous
30. Describe your sense of humor. If applicable.
It's mischievous.
