I just draw a blank most of the time.

Some people on here I have noticed have a similar issue, and others talk about how they are exchanging in depth conversations.
She either doesn't reply to me or I don't know what to say back to her.

Similar issue of initiating contact.

Don't know how to elaborate more on the issue (if someone asks questions on here I could probably do it though)

I have trouble with this. I find my day to day communication relies so much on tone and gesture that meeting someone solely through text is a real challenge. I tend to read as super awkward and overly formal or much more angry/aggressive than I actually am.
Flirty small talk is a learned skill, one I'm working on.

This.
Also one issue is that I just don't really know what to say since so much of my communication is through tone and gesture as well as the fact that because I'm not very good with talking through text I worry about how weird or creepy I may sound when talking for flirting with a possible significant other online. And because of that I usually try and just talk like we are friends but even then I feel I come across pretty weird or creepy possibly and then it also makes them think I just want to be friends because I type like that... I wish this s**t could just be easier lol.
