How is that any different... she wants a millionaire like some women want anyway but in all honesty, her standards are high.
Sure enough my eyes are bulging out of my sockets but it's hardly being ready if her standards are THAT high.

She looks quite healthy for her age, I wonder if the lack of relationship and sex related emotional stress has anything to do with that ![]()

Was gonna say if you don't look at the face then taking it as it is to assume that she is very healthy with no wrinkles would even grab some young males from 20 upwards to consider a possibility.
Can't look at her face again though... see a resemblance between her and my ex minus the wrinkles of course... *cringes* It was awful I tell you.

About (for example) not having haid sex in two years, having less than five sex partners throughout their lives, being virgins, and so on. It's similar to when guys brag about having f-cked 50 women in two years.

I think she sounds pretty neat and what a cool career.
Love the David Bowie in Labyrinth wig she's sporting in the 3rd picture.

No wonder she remained virgin till this age.
It's stated in the article that she was focused on her career.
In her younger days "having it all" wasn't a very common option.

Why he must be a millionaire? She has the money, a millionaire man would get a younger wife and she wouldn't have offspring (hence doesn't need much money).
She's one of those delusional persons who think themselves as "priceless prizes" and only a millionaire deserve them, yea right. It's nice to have a high self-worth but delusion is stupid.

I agree that she is completely delusional. For the "tall dark handsome millionaire" demographic (which isn't very large) she's competing with women decades younger. A more realistic demographic would be the one she actually belongs to. The man wouldn't be tall since age removes inches through bone degenration and he'll be white or gray haired rather than dark. He's also no more likely to be a millionaire than she is- just some elderly guy who is just like her- living off the savings of a modestly paying career and losing some of it to health care costs.
Of course even in her own demographic she has plenty of competition. The diseases of age tend to kill men younger than women and so elderly women outnumber elderly men. So she has a fairly large pool of other elderly and widowed women to compete with (those that are opting in to the competition). She also has this to contend with:
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504763_162- ... derly-why/
The elderly men who would be interested in an elderly woman (and able, thanks to viagra) have their pick from a large number of elderly women who have decades of sexual experience. Some of these women will have had only one partner- their deceased spouse. But that's still more experience than her. The article has a photo of her looking young and hot in the 60's. But her competition for the elderly man demographic includes not only widows with single-partner experience but the many other women who were also young and hot in the 60's and then participated in the sexual revolution of that time. Of course all this assumes that an elderly man wouldn't want an elderly virgin who wants to get married first. And I think that's a fair assumption. At his age, he's likely too tired and running out of time. He would not only have to teach her about sex, but she also wouldn't have the practice of being in a relationship unlike the woman who spent 40 years married to the same man and can fall deftly back into that pattern with no work on his part.*
But I suspect she isn't really serious anyway. If the reason she stayed away from both marriage and unmarried sexual relationships was really just to pursue her career, why not combine both once it became the social norm? And she was only in her 40's when it was the 80's and very much the social norm. I suspect her standards are intentionally impossibly unrealistic because she doesn't want a relationship and never has.
*edited to add: I strongly suspect that an elderly man who really does want to get married rather than to have an unmarried relationship is a man who really enjoyed being married and was happily married and simply outlived his wife. Such a man doesn't have many (or any) years to spend on relationship grooming and will want to slide seamlessly back into the rythm of married life. For that he would be better off with a woman who has a similar background- decades of happy marrieage ended by death of her husband. I have read many puff pieces on elderly people marrying each other but I have yet to find one where either of the two elderly people had no previous marriage experience.

Well, I think she has a chane among the non-rich eldery, she's attractive for her age after all.
the problem isn't in the pool, it's in her mind.
I have a suspicion she was being 'sassy' and possibly facetious.
It's just a cute fluff piece and here it has to become an opportunity imply women are golddiggers and that a woman's value is tied to her ability to produce offspring.
