Hello everyone,

I was diagnosed with Aspergers in high-school. It wasn't a problem back then I had plenty of people to talk to. Fast forward 2 years Ive had significantly less contact with people. And when I do occasional talk to people I just dont know what to say. On top of that Ive seemed to acquired a misanthropist viewpoint of the world. Im becoming a hermit and I dont like that.
Please help. What can I do?

Hi Aaron1570! Welcome to Wrong Planet! Check out the many interesting and helpful forums here. I am a hermit in my 50s, and happen to like being alone. It's not the end of the world. Still you are not interested in that lifestyle. There are ways to be with people.

- Take courses in person.
- Get a job if you don't have one.
- Take up a hobby or join a club. You will meet people who share your interests.
- Get involved in community activities. Attend town meetings, go to events held at local libraries and other local organizations, attend sporting events, local fairs and art shows, and attend and/or participate in local theater groups.

I'm sure you can think of other ways to meet people. And remember, you are among friends here at WP! :D
