So, you guys are really depressing me with all these posts lately, and it feels like a lot of the time my advice is going either unnoticed or just not really cared for, so I've been leaving less and less of it.

Anyway, here's what should be done: everyone on Wrong Planet should meet in a mutual place (Alaska), and either make love, argue, or a combination of both, so that we all won't be so misunderstood and alone.

A big problem around these parts in regards to advice is that in 95% of cases either they have already tried it or the advice infringes on something about them as a person (usually some bs like 'i dont date ugly women so im not lowering my standards' type of crap). At most dropping cliche advice which is always said and asking what a person has tried is a good start to better advice.

and then theres the people who simply come here to b***h and whine about others and dont bother giving out anything close to advice. Those can suck a camels ass for all i care.

Exactly. Which is why all of us should meet; we'll at least be able to complain face to face.

I'm so sick of complaining. Let's all meet in.... Paradise. Wherever in the world that is.

We should make our own "Paradise."

It is wherever you believe it to be.

Where would you like it to be?

I can get behind that.

Can WP have a Day of No Complaints or a Week of No Complaints? People complain a lot here about how boring their lives are or how worthless they feel or how their parents hate them. In the end it may do more harm than good to ignore complaints. I'm not sure what psychologists and psychiatrists think about this.

Funny you write this. I think I sometimes walk away feeling more depressed compared to when I sign on to this site. And I was feeling ecstatic when I signed up too.

I think we should all chip in and buy our own island where we can hang out.
