imaginary ficticious bf/gf?

so was watching an anime called chaos head and in it the main character is not interested in 3d women only fictitious women from his favorite tv show. I can totally relate to this in that if given the chance i would totally be more comfortable dating a fictitious person than a real one any in here feel the same way?

Women in those shows are made to be "perfect", Dreaming about being with them is nice and all but sadly we all have to wake up realize that will never happen.

Yeah sometimes I did but I don't really do that as much after I turned 18/19... out of choice.
Hope I didn't offend those who do still do this... sorry if so.
