Would an insecure girl make you want to think she's always having fun, guys like her, she goes to shows, etc etc in order to make you jealous and want her? I'm so fascinated and kinda lost with this one girl. I thought she was flirting with me at work, I got the sense that she was into me. I stupidly asked another co worker if this girl flirted with everyone like this.... I wasn't trying to say she was loose or whatever, I just wanted to know if she might be into me or not. Her friend says she flirts with everyone like that.

She keeps flirting, and then friended me on Facebook out of nowhere. All her pictures are of her going to concerts, having fun, being in a bathing suit, drinking, I have no clue why she friended me......

....unless she's trying to say she wants to hook it up?

I was blessed with good looks, I'm okay with saying that, I'm not conceited, because I've been cursed with a complete inability to read the opposite sex....it's a F-in trainwreck......

This girl might actually be interested in you. However, beware since you already stated she likes to flirt with anyone. My senses tells me she is not looking for anything serious and is only looking for a good time.

I dunno. There's also a huge chance that I'm making this all about me when it has nothing to do with me.....

Yes, that may also be the case. But don't feel that bad either since there are a lot of selfish people out there. She is also being selfish if she does not take your feelings into account.

Have you tried asking her?

I can think of a heap of reasons why a girl might "friend" you on Facebook:

- She thinks of you as a friend
- She thinks of you as more than a friend and wants to get to know you outside work
- She is interested in having some "fun" with you
- You came up on her homepage because you have mutual friends so she thought she may as well add you
- She was on an "adding spree" and requesting as many people as she could think of.

So basically, I wouldn't read anything into that at all. And if she flirts with everyone like she does with you, I wouldn't read anything into that either. You need some more stuff to go on.

True, all good advice. In terms of directly talking to her, I would have more success putting on a puttet show to try an explain. Here's what's a trip, as soon as I met her, I picked up on her flirty/Ellen type sarcastic humor. With maybe a few "real" conversations, we've been communicating in flirt mode. Kinda interesting.....

I was in "elevated anxiety obsession" mode when I posted earlier, like doing a rubix cube in your head, with the rubix cube being the "how do I read this chick."

Overall, I maybe down to have some fun, but my I usually stick to gettin to know someone and trying to establish a bond. I suppose its an upgrade to simply liking a girl because they like me. We actually have the freedom to analyze our choices and try to make good ones......
(with that said, if she shows interest in me, my lower brain will protest quite a bit against the ethics I propose above.)
But I digest....

The question is do you like her? Talk to her some more and get to know her before busting a move. I wouldn't recommend casual dating at work, could end badly.

I think a lot of insecure girls do this. They need the approval of others. Society sets the the rules how girls should be. Facebook doesn't really show your personality. Many people just use it to show their best side. You shouldn't interpret too much in her facebook and much less what others say about her.
Another point what happens a lot to myself is that guys/men mistake me being nice and kind as flirting which isn't always true. Actually mostly not.
I would just say stop thinking too much. Having pics on facebook doesn't mean she is easy to get! Just let things come naturally. Be yourself as much as you can around her and you will see where it leads too.

yeah, this is where I can imagine it's tough for the ladies, you smile at a guy and he thinks you're in love with him.

I guess ultimately, I gotta check how my brain takes things and runs with them. My shrink tells me I should stay focused on my goals, and not get caught up with girls right now. Makes total sense. I lose focus when you lovely ladies come into the picture;)

I agree with yellowtamarin on this one.

She sounds either very insecure and pretending like people love her, or she's really just in love with herself and truly believes this.

sounds like a stereotypical "slu*ty" girl. Doesnt mean she is a slut, just that her actions are ones of more outgoing types that can be characterized as such. Wanna know if shes into you or not? Ask her out then.

Maybe a normal person would be like "yeah, she's cool, but, not really my type" or "I'm just gonna ask her out" but for me, I gotta make a whole thing about it. Thank you brain. Thank you frontal lobe.

Loads of us do because we don't really rationalise the situation... your not alone there, I've seen it happen.
