I am chatting with a girl right now, she is hot as hell and she seems to like chatting, she thinks I'm funny and we get along well...

Do anyone have a strategy for how to make it more than just chatting?

I want her to know that I care about her but I don't want to be constantly pushing myself on her either...

If it's online... be wary... could be a male.
If we're talking about actually meeting a girl face to face... I'd say two things to you...
One. Congrats!
Two. If this is just starting off and only seeing each other for a few days then I believe that would be a rushed attempt.
If it's been going for a few months then perhaps it'll be okay to talk about being lovers... intimacy is sometimes interpreted as getting into her pants.

Okay just re-read...
To be honest you should just keep on communicating with her... going in too soon will trigger something she'll find rather disruptive and shocking.
Not saying you are, it's just how it comes across.
For now just enjoy the company of each other... at the end of it the worst case scenario is that she's a friend and that's not really that bad at all.

Is this person local?
If not, would you ever be interested in going to meet them, or is this destined to be an online-only deal?

I would imagine she is wondering the same thing; why not just be yourself? If she accepts you for who and what you are, that is fine. If she doesn't, move on. Another avdantage of being yourself is you don't have to remember how to act or what to say in certain situations.

So what happened?
