Does anyone else feel the need to organize it?

I think it would be a lot easier if it where something like....

Asia teens
Asia 20-30
Asia 30+

America teens
America 20-30
etc

Europe teens
etc etc etc

I know it's not perfect. But unless we can add a search function, it would make it a lot easier to find what you are looking for if you don't have to sift through 193 pages of people who are on the other side of the planet or not your age range. I suppose there should be different sections for different orientations as well.

It would be way too arbitrary, and people don't always have one set preference.
There's also an adolescent board and I figure teenagers don't really use dating sites or personal ads. They hook up with people they know so are likely to do so in their own subsection of the forums.

I just look at the new ones that pop up. I figure the old ones are probably out-dated anyway and it's possible the person doesn't even post here anymore.

It would be nice to have an organized database of some kind though.

When I posted mine a couple of weeks ago I just went thru the last 50 pages. And that went back over 2 years! A lot of the posts (over half) were just replies to other posts. Anyone earlier is probably not looking anymore or way out of date. I contacted one woman about 30 or 40 pages back who already moved to another state.

The preference was less for race than it was for location. After all... hard to date someone when there's a pesky ocean in the way! ;)

Pity someone didn't just completely remake that steaming pile of broken code that is the current Aspie dating site...

Exactly!
I simply meant that it would be easier if we could narrow things down a bit. I'm not sure what I thought January Man meant I've been to depressed to think about stuff lately.
Yes it would be great if someone would fix Aspie affection!
I did find a site for aspies though, just joined so I don't know if it's any good yet.

Location does help but I think the oddbod list works just fine. And totally agree, they need to fix Aspie Affection. Sometimes you can't even reply properly because of how broken it is, or it sends the same message more than once which can freak people out. And that's like the least of the problems the site has.

I like the idea of creating something more easily searchable, but wonder if it might not be better just to start several new threads organized by region and sticky those. So many of the posts are old and outdated that it might make sense to just start from scratch. Plus, it would save someone a whole lot of time and hassle.

I like that idea. Though, the more threads, the more clutter. I mean, you might need to sticky a lot of threads then...
