I am a 41 year old man with low social skills , and this makes me feel shy and very awkward in Social situations is my condition Asperges or could it just be Crippling shyness and do you think this could have led to me still being a virgin and shy of girls still at my Age41 ?

i feel certain i have AS. i read about it after my nephew was diagnosed and found myself described. there are also lists of symptoms at AARP.com and webMD. should give you an idea what you may be dealing with. at my age, 56, i feel there's no use getting an official diagnosis. i just understand myself better. (and probably my dad, too.) i haven't even told my whole family and just a couple friends.

i used to have social anxiety. later, i accepted my quietness and introversion. now if folks take time to get to know me, great. if not, their loss.
