Is anyone else so ticklish it has interfered with your sex life? Is that an aspie trait?

Wow! I don't know if it's an aspie trait or not, but I have that same problem.....some places are so ticklish that I almost jump out of my skin when they're touched, or burst into giggles if it looks like my husband is even thinking about touching them. Needless to say, it can be a mood killer!

It would be a Aspie trait, because we are extremely sensitive.

But oh yes! It was quite the struggle for my boyfriend. He sometimes wouldn't want to snuggle because he was afraid of tickling me, and I have a strong reaction to tickles - But yes, it was a bit of a mood killer a times.
He used to used tickling as a "punishment" whenever I would say anything mean to him. :D

Well that explains a lot. I think one girl thought I was gay.

My advice: Ask her NOT to use a light touch.

I am very ticklish in some areas. My feet and my stomach. I don't like being tickled anywhere, it hurts. But it hasn't interfeared with my sex.

But I have met plenty of people off the spectrum who don't like being tickled.

The light touch kills me. :D I normally don't even like being touched at all, especially when it's unexpected, or from someone I don't want touching me. It's like the other person is invading my personal space or something.

Also, I will tell someone not to touch me, and they will do it even more because they think I'm being playful with them...very annoying.

I don't mind light touch. It actually feels good to me.

Those people, I would just get mad and scream at them and push them away. That might give them the right message.

Light touch to me is like a bug flitting around. I just want to swat it away. But regarding tickling. The area around my ribs is so ticklish if someone touches me there it feels like when the doctor hits your knee to test your reflexes. I did experience this weirdness, when I was pregnant with my son I discovered i was ticklish on the inside as well.

YES. I´m ticklish. Extremely, EXTREMELY ticklish. Nobody cantouch me, because my fingers tickle, my legs, head and neck tickle, and most of all, my torso tickles as f**k. Which means that any cuddling results in a burst of giggling and trashing my legs about all the time. When I randomly go to a massage, I give every masseurs creepes and they remember me, because I am totally impossible  It was THERE I found out that I prefer a firm touch, even a little bit of pain, than a light touch. Because only THEN I am not laughing my ass off.

I am quite sensitive as well, sometimes I can nearly tickle myself. But I kinda enjoy this sensitivity too. Just as long as there is no rapid, unexpected movements.

Light touch for me is extremely painful. It causes a serious neurobiological reaction. I get angry. Even my own clothes have to be very tight or I feel like I can't breathe. I have *always* been like this. It's not nice.
