What do I do? we're still friends after 10 months of being broken up. But I moved on fast (i broke up with him) but I know he still wants to be together and loves me. I don't love him. He even gets kinda upset if I talk about other guys or whatever...

I feel like our friendship is gonna end very soon... I like someone else...but If I told him he's gonna be very depressed and I don't wanna hurt him again... he's a nice guy:/

If he's an aspie, chances are you will have no choice but to leave him in the past.
I remember deciding with someone I was seeing for a short while recently to cut off all ties with her because I knew exactly what she would likely have to deal with moving forward. Not putting another person through that. Funny thing is I had a rebound since and got over a lot of things, but I still do miss her company if anything at all.

He's not an aspie.

I know I'll miss the times we had together, but I do wanna move forward with this new guy.

How do I tell him?

Well, then again, if he is a nice guy too, then that also makes sense. Nice guys get caught up too easily as well. I guess you may have no choice to be very forward with him.

Just tell him what you really feel towards him.

You are broken up with your ex and free to move on to the next guy. You don't have to tell your ex about it before moving forward with the new guy. Friends do not have some absolute right to know about their friend's love life decisions. Much less do ex-boyfriends have that right.

I mean it's OK to tell him; but not required. As a matter of fact, a good way to help him move along in detaching from you is to demonstrate that you are no longer motivated to disclose.
