Locating other Aspies in specific geographic regions

Greetings!

I am new to WP and I have been researching it for links related to meeting (general social interaction as well as dating) other Aspies in specific geographic regions.

Can any of you recommend previous, related-links or filters within WP that would allow me to find anyone nearby (northern WV) or am I the first to recommend such a search tool? *gasp*

I was on a different website once that linked to some 3rd-party free page where everyone could put a peg on a world map for where they lived and everyone else could use/see it too. Anyone know of it? It should be found, used and stickied!

There is a map like that on this site! I found it when I first joined. It's in the "getting to know each other" forum near the top. Look here: http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt104660.html
But you should know there are 3 different maps. So hit the "next" button at the bottom if you post a pin and can't find it. You will need to look at all three maps to find everyone.
