I think hugging and kissing on the cheek or even lightly on the lips is okay. But the mouth to mouth thing I really don't want to do. How do you tell somebody that you do have strong feeling but the spit swapping is too much?

I sort of gag even on my own spit!

Thought you where female for a min they, lucky I checked your profile before lol

Don't know but define exactly why you don't want to do it?

because to gag on your own spit would be it going down the wrong way into your lungs where your eyes water up and keep coughing, that what you mean?

or define what meaning of gag you mean ta...

Eeeeyeah, I kind of understand, I felt like that for a long time... it's an acquired taste, as well as an activity in which good dental hygiene practiced by both parties is key to its enjoyability factor.

Erm, this may sound strange... but what helped me get used to the idea was to bend my tongue backwards and suck on it...

It's not as good as people make it out to be, to be completely honest.

When I've 'engaged' in a French kiss, I've found that my mouth gets way too dry and it annoys the hell out of me, so I don't tend to enjoy it that much.

Hugs & Normal Kisses are what I tend to enjoy more, as they feel more 'loving' than a sexually orientated game of tonsil hockey.

If you don't wish to do the whole French Kiss thing, explain to your partner how you feel about it, if they truly care about you, they should understand.

But hey, don't knock it till you try it :P

Good luck.

I like your response, but are there any women that would confirm what this guy is saying?

I used to date someone who did not like French kissing and I respected that. But when things get hot and heavy, French kissing going to happen. Its inevitable, especially when your dating a rather beautiful woman. Guys before you kiss a woman be sure you eat a mint before you do the deed and when you are kissing do not drool.

Heres the honest truth it will suck if you or the other person sucks at it, trial and error, or you have not gone through the spectrum of kissing techniques coz I can get a nt who says kissing is yuck tilting her head up as your trying to kiss her got to keep hold of her face to stop her pushing her head up...

As for french kiss, how the hell is your mouth getting dry, you flooding her with spit...? :skull:

Might be more related to anxiety..... if you have that....

Think that is called Vomiting phobia "ahayes" Depends how high your fear is though and other stuff that is personal to you, if you can't swallow try and have a look at it...

Why is my username in quotes? Are you saying, " 'ahayes' if that is your real name"? My name is Aaron.

I meant to say lips, not mouth.

Haha, of course your mouth isn't going to dry out :P

Just tell them up front. Don't wait until after they have french kissed you or tried to - they will interpret that most likely, as a criticism of their kissing ability.

As for what women think of it - it depends. When I was single, I used to love kissing (except for the time someone slobbered all over me!). Not all people dump a bunch of spit in your mouth, though. Some people are much tidier about things. :)

And you will meet women at times who don't like french kissing either. It varies by person.

Only way to find out is to be honest about things.

Why do people kiss like that anyway? It's disgusting, swapping each other's saliva and "tonguing" is not my idea of clean. I find it to be gross.

It works in the same way that NT's think our obsessions are strange.

Should look up the signs of vomiting phobia might be shocked why you feel like you do... might be a name for the less of it before it comes a phobia... but feeling sick is one of the symptoms, of fear of vomiting and hygiene...

I've never kissed anybody in that fashion, ever (of course, I've never kissed anybody romantically - as opposed to just socially - either, but that's beside the point). It just looks like there are too many variables for me to mess up :(
