I really have no meaningful advice to offer you, but I just wanted you to know that I've read your brave and honest post and that I feel deeply for you in what is clearly a complicated and distressing situation.

Forgiveness and good communication - wise speaking and attentive listening - are powerful means of healing.
Best wishes, and I hope you get the help and support you need.

I don't believe in staying together "for the sake of the children", but maybe counseling will help you both reconnect and support each other. :)

Your husband sounds like a tool and your kids would be better off not being in a loveless marriage. Try counseling but if you deep down know it's not working why waste both of your time?
