It depends who, when and in what manner. While being excessively jealous or controlling isn't a helpful trait for either yourself or your partner there are some situations where being concerned about other male contact is appropriate and healthy. It is up to people to work out what and implicitly negotiate and discover what approprate boundaries are for them. There is big area between 'too concerned', which can be smothering or 'not concerned enough' which can lead to contempt.

If it's a constant non-stop sort of thing I would get upset. But if they are talking like any two people would converse it would be okay.

Only if she talks to another guy more than she talks to me, or she obviously has an attraction to him, or something. While I've never had a real romantic relationship, I was in an online one, and back then it did bother me, but that was because she wasn't really reliable, commitment-wise. (Long story.) But by now I don't think it'd bother me much.

I don't have a gf, but from experience I think I wouldn't like it. Becuase sometimes if someone else hogs one of my friends, as much as I don't want to, I sometimes get emotional. I try not to, but it's hard.
So I think it would bother me, but I'd try my best to control my emotions.

If I had a gf, I probably be paranoid with them see other people due to inexperience in relationships.

Do I have a gf? Nope.
If I did, would it bother me? Naturally.
Would I act on being bothered by this? Not if I wanted to keep my gf.

I've discovered that this is one of those "rights" the Feministas have drummed into women's heads. I'm married, and the Missus always asks me if it's OK that she call an old beau who lives near us. It's bloody impolite, ladies, and even borderline abusive ! !! !!

I agree, Sovietchess I'm not trying to be an a--hole, but you gotta see it from my perspective. I see your perspective, you have an identity conflict so you gotta throw yourself into a group of people somewhere to feel like you belong, and honestly I'm not insensitive to this.
But you can't come in and take someone's cultural identity for yourself, your obviously not living with AS, and by pretending to be AS your kinda just taking away from our cultural identity and our voice within the AS community. I have no problem if you wanna post here, but be yourself, first, find yourself... And, there is help out there.

Well if he's gay or bisexual this might not eliminate him from being aspie, they have more options than straight men. I have no problem with homo/bi-sexuality.

But he said girlfriends, not boyfriends.... hm.... ok, well your not AS but I can offer you advice to help you find yourself if this is what you are seeking..... But I'd have to know more about you to do that.... If you'd like private message me and we can be friends if you'd like.
