Post anything about Native Americans and dating, this means all of north and south america.

(Note I am part Potawatomi, so I am not trying to be racist, as it would be stupid to be racist against myself)

I have Native blood also and would not mind dating a handsome Native man. I joined my city's Native cultural heritage group, but as of yet, I haven't attended any of the functions. The last Powow was way on the other side of the metro area which was too far. My very first crush was on a Native.

I always thought that many Native Americans look sort of oriental especially since they probably walked over from Asia on a land-bridge thousands of years ago. :idea:

I'm Shawnee and Osage. I was involved in a lot of NA cultural activities in college but I've sort of fallen out of them since graduating.

I wish I had darker hair; I don't like dying hair, though. That guy has some awesome hair. I'm half Cherokee, so, close enough? :p What exactly should I be saying right now?

I'm part native also,Cherokee most likely.Lost tribes of the Ozarks.
I regret that when I was a teen, and I had a broken nose repaired, I asked them to get rid of a small hump in the bridge of my nose.I'm sorry I did now,I caved in to the the standards of WASP beauty and had part of my heritage destroyed.

I've got only distant Native blood (The rest is overwhelmingly white with a dash of black) and yet I look more Indian than white. So much that I'm mistaken for Asian a lot. Sometimes Hawaiian. One girl I worked with thought I was at least half-Indian and half-German, another thought I was either Indian or Hawaiian. Most people who do think I'm Asian guess Chinese. Been mistaken for Korean once, Japanese once, Filipino once. Even got mistaken for Turkish (I once worked at a restaurant run by Turks and one of them looked like he could easily pass for Chinese), Mexican, and of all things, ITALIAN. I have no Italian ancestry. For one, my eyes are too narrow to be Italian (Again, American Indian would be a closer guess).

I was given more of a Polish nose, thanks to being half Polish, and now I'm stuck with it. People tend to think I'm mostly Polish; I'd rather be identified with Native American. :( Anyway, I bet it looks fine now, but I can see what you mean. I like when people keep themselves more natural.
