here a list, I have for different character in shows that are love shy or struggle in dating.
both real and cartoon

beavis and butthead- they never score

Bill Dauterive-king of the hill ( he did date a few times, but all failed)

Budd bundy- married with children ( he did date, alot of times his dates failed,
or in some episode he completely fails with women)

John Arbuckle- Garfield and friends (the cartoon) and in the comic strip
he usually was single or had disaster dates for the longest time,
until he finally got liz as his girlfriend in recent year.

raj- from the big bang theory ( he did have a brief girlfriend)
and probaly the closes character in what love shy men are really like

moe- from the simpson - ( he had one girlfriend, and it failed.)

steve smith- american dad ( he does get girlfriend, but something
always happen and he loses them)
