Lost my true love...
I just recently found out that my girlfriend, now ex-girlfriend, just dumped me. I don't know for what reason, I just found out that she isn't my type. Back from 2008, I've always liked African-American women, and I guess she found out that that's my preference. I don't know how, but, she found out in some way or another.
I assume that I should stick with whatever floats my boat. ![]()

So she's not black and you think she is upset because you find black women pretty?
I can sort of see that since women hate competition and the idea that they might not be enough for you. But there could many other issues going on. It's not easy to date anyone and probably even more so for autistic people. It's sad but I've dealt with it too. It's like you want to make them happy but you miss the signals.
She did not even give a reason for the break up? I'm sorry. You should stick with whatever makes you happy. There are plenty of fish in the sea as the old expression goes.
Maybe you could try contacting her in a few days? Sometimes couples get back together. But if you do this be very respectful of her boundaries. If no is still a no leave it at that. But if were me I would at least try once to get back together.
Don't feel bad. Could be me. Disowned by my last girlfriend who has my son. Not only I lost somebody I thought would stand by my side no matter what "may she burn in hell for eternity". But i lost half my soul. So now I took a vow to never date again or marry was married once to but she cheated on me. And to get my son back and give him a a chance at life I am currently switching my careers from welding to commercial diving to make enough money to pay child support along make her go insane since I will have the funds to keep her in court for years to come. Moral of the story work on yourself. Relationships hold ya back.

I'm not sure what advice to offer, but dating a black woman seems to lower the odds of your gf being offended by your attraction to black women, at least in my experience.

Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.
