Here's my challenge: I want to find a Los Angeles girl. Trouble is, I am in Seattle. The online dating sites have been trouble, and I have trouble initiating a relationship when I am about 1500 north of L.A.

Serious inquiries, please here. How can I ask this L.A. girl to be my girlfriend, when I live far from her? I mean, some of you have been successful in initiating a relationship on this site, but I can't seem to do it, because I fear that I may scare away the girl.

Oh, and if you are from the L.A. area, girls, please look at my "Calling all Seattleites, Vancouverites, and L.A. people!" You won't regret me. Cheers.

Although, when I think of the me being alone thing, I think of Tevin Campbell and Tom Hiddleston, neither of whom are married. So I feel a slight bit better, but not much.

I might add that some of you have found love in this website, but I don't know because I am unsure how to start a relationship online. HELP!

Maybe if you explained why you are trying to initiate a long-distance relationship, and why specifically with someone in LA?

Simple: My aim is to eventually move to the Los Angeles area (I've had this dream for a while); I love the city because it's the city where the stars are, I've been told I would fit in with Hollywood, and I want to work in the ad industry there. Hope this helps.

The insane amount of crime, crowding, and pollution in LA doesn't bother you much?

I think your best bet is to move to LA. . .

Working on that objective as we speak.
