Let me start off by saying, I love this site! I feel like I fit in here, and I've only been a member for 30 minutes! I know there's a couple posts like this, but I need to know it when it applies to my situation.

There's this boy who's a couple years older than me that is in the same program as me (we both have ASD), and I think he might like me. Here are some reasons why I think this.

• He asked me to homecoming.
• He brought a puzzle for me to work on, since I love them.
• He apologized when he got upset in class.
• He talked with me for practically the whole time at this Halloween party.
• He broke out laughing when I asked a would-you-rather question.
• He wanted to tell me about this project he's working on.
• When we sit by each other, he leans towards me really closely.
• He "accidentally" touches my knee when we're doing the jigsaw puzzle together or sitting at the same table.
• We spent 2 straight hours texting.

Please write your thoughts on this. I really appreciate it! :)

You don't ask someone to a dance if you have no interest in them.

I think the more salient question is why you wanted us to come to this obvious conclusion, that he likes you, on your behalf.

Are you not confident in yourself to the point that you're having trouble accepting that he could like you? Are you maybe a bit nervous about acknowledging the reality of his attraction and what that means for you, instead preferring to stick to the safe but still exciting phase of speculating about his feelings? Or maybe you just want us to confirm what you already want to believe, because that makes it more real?

In any case, I agree with the others that he probably does like you. Best wishes as you and he take things from there.

Okay, thank you for all of your responses. To answer any questions, he is 2 grades ahead of me. Also, I'm not a very confident person and doubt myself a lot. I have to go ask people if they think something. :/

He asked you to homecoming. Yes, he likes you. That's a big deal. Did you go?

Okay, today, he actually said he missed me. (I was absent yesterday due to an anxiety attack.)
