Comparing your romantic sitch to celebrities

You know, before my sister got married, I was a bit jealous and decided to compare my romantic situation to that of celebrities. I said in late October, "You want a perfect coupling? Look at Fergie/Josh Duhamel!" Then someone told me NOT to compare my romantic situation to that of celebrities, as early in their marriage, Josh Duhamel allegedly cheated on Fergie by having sex with a stripper named Nicole Forrester.

But then I see Tom Hiddleston, Gerard Butler and Benedict Cumberbatch and see that they are NOT married, and they're older than I am (I'm 26 as of this writing).

I'm certainly glad to hear that you're feeling a lot better about your romantic situation.

It's true that most "Hollywood land" relationship's either don't last for long or are based on lies, and yeah you shouldn't compare
yourself with celebrities because that's almost like a whole different part of this world. On the other hand though although not flawless,
there are some celeb's who have managed to keep their relationship alive, for example Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, who
were married from 1958-2008, the end of their relationship was due to the fact that Newman died of lung cancer.



But also this couple did mistakes, one being that they started out their relationship as an affair. He was already married and with children when he got involved romantically with Woodward, which Newman himself admitted that caused him to carry a lot of shame and guilt for the rest of his. But ignoring the fact that their romance started badly, it's the fact that they managed to stay together and love one another from there on and until the one of them passed away.

So there are some celeb's who make good inspirations when it comes to relationship, minus the cheating of course.

I find that comparing myself to others is rarely a good pursuit. They're different people in different circumstances.

Oh, and R&B singer Tevin Campbell isn't married either, and he's 37.

Please, do not remind me that Tom Hiddleston is single. Thinking about it does strange things to my hormones.

Anybody else feel the same way as I posted here?

Oh, and Benedict Cumberbatch is 11 years older than me. I guess I don't feel as bad now.
