Would you be happy to have a relationship with a vampire ?

They both seem to be happy with the arrangement.
However personally, I would say no.... for two main reasons.

Firstly, it would be so difficult to trust them not to turn you into a vampire ... and they might become very fixated from having to maintain that sort of restraint over any sort of long-term relationship.

And secondly, it's never been proven that vampires are not a member of the undead community.
This would make any sort of sexual relations potentially a form of necrophilia... and seriously, just..... ewwwww ... necrophilia is nasty.

Seemingly, even our neighbours could be blood drinkers (if not actual vampires) -

Perhaps being in a relationship with somebody human who merely practices vampirism could be an acceptable compromise for people who're sitting on the fence about potentially having a relationship with an actual vampire ?
;-)

Bizarre. I guess it takes all kinds, huh?

I, of all people, should embrace this. In my novella 'Wetland', towards the end, there's a scene where one of the main characters descends into the bowels of this underground club. It's called Theatre Of Pain and it's really an amalgam of BDSM, fetishes and oddities. It's not for the feint hearted, that's for sure.

No, I would not. I have no aversion to blood, nor do I mind that people do such things, but cutting someone specifically to ingest their blood holds no appeal for me.

***Great Book***

I've still not started that book.

Your theater of pain cannot be as repulsive as "The Torture Garden" by Octave Mirbeau. If anyone wants to disgust themselves, that's a good one.

Honestly? I'd love to, the taste of blood is a fetish I have rather oddly, since I'll start to feel woozy if I see too much. But oh god the taste, the iron, a bodily fluid that tastes metallic to a point, and absolutely delicious.

A relationship with someone who could make me immortal? Yes.
A mortal who just drinks blood? No.

I dated a vampire for a few years. The vampire inside her was all dead and ossified though. She never once tried to suck my blood, but her mood swings were a bit challenging..

Actually, no. I think real estate agents, bankers, insurance agents and the like have more in common with vampires than women do. Although a minority of these professionals ARE women.

Women are people too, dude.

The "Venger" character from the old D&D show looks kinda like a vampire. I don't think he actually is one though.
