E2LA here. I am ready for some tips and help from everyone here.

So I was in a relationship (for all of a week) with another WP.net member (still not saying who), but she broke up with me, not because of myself, but for personal reasons (which I feel a bit uneasy disclosing) that are beyond my control.

With that out of the way, I will be frank: The breakup does NOT bother in me any way, shape or form. I understand her, and I am cool with it.

I don't see myself as cursed now. Bad things happen, not because I am cursed, but merely out of happenstance.

Some four things you need to know about my good qualities:
1) My intelligence. Yeah, I know certain things, that’s what makes me so great as an Aspie. I mean, I have expertise in certain areas, while I have photographic memory in some fields, as I said, there are others that I cannot do to well in. So, I’m pretty good on that front.

2) My humor. Obviously. I have many inspirations on this front, and some of my jokes are clean, others may be a bit crass, but your mileage may vary on the latter.

3) My gregariousness. Someone told me I can perform in front of an audience, and if you have seen me do so, I certainly can bring the house down.

4) I am kind-hearted. I am not as annoying/eccentric as you think, it’s just a part of who I am, really. Despite some of my problems, in the end, I am just an all-around nice guy who wants to fit in to a degree.

While this isn't quite a dating site, I could use some help in a few fields, everyone. I have a POF and OKCupid sites, but yet I do not know how to pitch myself there. I welcome your advice and ideas. Cheers, and here's hoping for something great in 2014 from me!

You should go to a furry convention to meet someone. I hear brony thing has really taken off.........

Okay, I've got to ask, are you trying to convince us that you're really, really happy all the time or are you trying to convince yourself?

EDIT: Also, I would really consider letting the Bronie thing go if you haven't already. We've all got enough obstacles without adding another one.

Guys, I meant I want serious advice. None of this smart-alecky stuff.

learn to spot bad trends and nip them in the bud or redirect. concentrate on your talents most of the time but do not totally neglect your weak spots, work on them in the downtimes. pay attention to kindness all around you and be a part of it. one of the kindnesses of others you see might be the one for you.

Go read the multitude of "OKCupid Dating Tips" threads on here - there's a lot of good advice contained therein.

1. Must put her first
2. Must treat her with respect
3. Must make her feel good about herself
4. Must be athletic
5. Must not drink
6. Must be confident when you engage and interact with the world
7. Must be inspired to daily "be" in the world, to be fully engaged
8. Must actively be the person you're trying to attract

The secret to becoming who you want to attract is to create a daily practice that keeps you “wow’d” and inspired. Wake up every morning with a “Wow” attitude that tells your old victim mentality to take a hike.

Start with the three that are on the first page of this forum. And go find Geeko's "how to succeed" thread, it's pretty recent, too.
