Have you ever fallen in love with another Aspie and think that the Aspies mother is a manipulative control freak ?

My current girlfriend is on her last year of high school and is eighteen years old. She's constantly being talked down by her own mother and it pains me when there's nothing I could about it. I want to help her and at the same time give her mother the middle finger by helping her realize her dreams. The problem is I'm living in poverty and don't have the money to go all the way the East coast to Canada :(

We're making plans to see each other one day and now she's worried about me giving up on her and that I might get fed up with waiting to meet her one day. It's the same with me. I'd wait for her forever...

I still need to talk to her about my self conscience issues and try to help her get out on her own. If I invite her here would I get into trouble for talking about her behind her back ? I'm not, I just don't want to hurt her. I'm a f*****g scum bag never-the-less for asking for some advice.

Forget my last thread on this issue, how would you approach her about issues like self conscientiousness and how you still feel guilty about what you did. f**k it I'll just go for it :/

*sigh* I can't wait till the day when I can just hold her and do nothing for hours while we both fall asleep in each other's arms ...

Well her mother seems to talk down to her a lot and my girlfriend wants to move out even though she's eighteen :/ I think her mother's a control freak because she does everything in her power not to help her daughter out from what she has told me and I dislike this :/ Today she told me that her mother blames me for her getting bad grades and I'm not looking foreword to the possibility of arguments :(

When I get on my feet and is making a decent income, I'm travelling to Canada and meeting her. I'll look for a place to stay and eventually get her out of her mother's place. I'd like to look for a job for income to support the both of us and get her into college to do the things she wants to do.

So an 18-year-old failing out of high school is in love with a 26-year-old underemployed (unemployed?) dude from another country whose sole objective is to get enough money to let her escape her cruel, oppressive mother.*

*Mother is cruel and oppressive because she doesn't want her daughter to be a high school dropout living with some older American man she met on the internet.

I never said that I want her to be dropout and I never said that she was failing school. Learn to f*****g read a**hole and stop judging me ! You don't even f*****g know me nor er nor the full story behind this! Her mother keeps degrading her and putting her down, how hard is that to understand you little dumb f**k! Did you miss the part about how I want to put her through college are you just that illiterate ? Learn to f*****g read and read something thoroughly before making harsh conclusions !

Put her through school with what money?

Every single detail of this screams "bad idea." Assuming her mother is upset because she's pining over some stranger from the internet instead of trying to graduate with a good GPA, her concerns are 100% valid. And in the very unlikely event that her actions are actually criminally actionable, why haven't you contacted the police instead of asking her to tough it out while you find a way to make a living wage that includes gives you long-term access to Canada.

MrOddBall, that's enough with the personal attacks. There are better ways of disagreeing with what someone said than resorting to a stream of abuse.
Any more of it will result in this thread being locked.

I apologize to TheGoggles and think this thread needs to be locked never-the-less, as it's not really going anywhere and I'm having a hard time getting my point across ...
